Announcement   Handmade pottery by Michael and Janet Calhoun of Blowing Rock NC. Celebrating 25 year in 2017. We are still , learning, creating, and feeling blessed to do what we love. I, (Janet) am a sixth generation potter from the Owens Family of Seagrove, NC. Mike and I were taught and inspired by my parents, Glenn and Lula Bolick of Bolick Pottery. Functional items such as bacon cookers, french butter dishes, apple bakers, casseroles, serving dishes, coffee mugs, cereal bowls and more. Oven, Microwave, and dishwasher safe. Great colors such as cobalt blue, greens, browns, and reds. Great for gifts, entertaining, and baking. Michael is most known for his face jugs such as Santas, Wizards, and Clay Spirits.

Great packaging. Did not have to worry about damage to the item - the color is an amazing blue and exactly what I was hoping for.

Welome to Traditions Pottery. We, Mike and Janet Calhoun, started Traditions in 1992. I am a sixth generation potter and have been throwing since the young age of 5. Mike started after we married in 1987. We feel blessed to do what we love and love what we do.
