SKANDINAVIOUS By Louise Vilmar

Skandinavious By Louise Vilmar was " born" in 2008 when I finally got a greencard in the US after years of waiting. My plan was to bring my Scandinavian design esthetics to the Americans but unfortunately the economy went south shortly after I started the company so SKANDINAVIOUS got put on hold for a while. I moved back to Scandinavia with my family and we are now in Stockholm, Sweden. I started SKANDINAVIOUS again in the fall 2011 and have been steadily growing since, mostly selling wholesale. However, I'd like to connect more directly with my customers as well as have the ability to sell one of a kind and limited edition items so in 2013 I decided to reopen my Etsy store - welcome!

Returns and exchange details
RETURNS & REFUNDS
I offer refunds on all items in my shop except for custom and personalised items. Before returning an item, you must contact me and let me know you wish to make a return. You must contact me within 14 days from the day after delivery and ship the item back within 30 days. Any return shipping charges are to be covered by you. Returned items must be in unused condition. A refund will be issued when the item is back.

Please note that refusing a package is not accepted and in such case the package will be treated as abandoned by the carrier or automatically returned to you. A refund will not be issued in this case.

DAMAGED ITEM
Should an item be damaged when you get it, I will arrange for either a replacement or a full refund. You must contact me immediately after you receive the item. Do not return the item to me before contacting me and make sure to keep all packing materials as they may be needed for filing a claim with the carrier.
Payment
Etsy provides a lot of different payment options. Etsy sellers never see any of your credit card information.
Shipping
GENERAL INFO
All items ship from Skåne, Sweden. Most orders ship with Postnord letter mail or parcel service (tracked where possible) unless you choose an upgrade. Large orders may ship with UPS or similar service, if so I will contact you to obtain your contact phone number.

SHIP DATE
Items ordered will ship before or on the date stated on your receipt. In the event that I cannot ship your order as promised you will be informed as soon as possible via Etsy messages.

TRANSIT TIMES
I cannot guarantee that a package shipped with regular mail will arrive on or before a certain date. Any delivery dates stated are estimates.

During busy seasons such as Christmas, delays through customs and with local carriers are likely, so please order well in advance. Remember to consider processing time which you can find at item level in the top section under the shipping and policies tab.

SHIPPING DETAILS
You are responsible for providing full and accurate shipping details. If you enter the wrong ship to address, please request an order cancellation and place a new order with the correct address.

SHIPPING UPGRADE
Courier services require your contact phone number. Please put this in note to seller at check-out. If you do not provide a contact phone number I will try to contact you by Etsy messages, however, if I do not hear back from you, your order may ship with regular mail. In such case I will refund the upgrade cost.

CUSTOMS & DUTY
Depending on the specific import rules of your country you may have to pay import tax, sales tax or duty on your purchase.

US & Canadian customers only: We may store and process your information through third-party order fulfilment services in the US. If we are deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, we rely on Shopify to do so.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items ship nicely presented in suitable environmentally friendly packaging. If sending a gift directly to the recipient, please mark the order as a gift and I will add extra padding so the package arrives in the best possible condition. I usually wrap multiple items together unless you specify otherwise in note to seller at checkout.

Sizing details

You'll find all item details including size in the description - if you can't find the details you need, please contact me through Etsy messages.

Transit times

Transit times vary depending on where you live, service chosen as well as time of year. Please order well in advance of major holidays such as Christmas.

Can I ship a gift directly to someone else?

Yes absolutely – just make sure that the shipping details are correct. Also note that the recipient will be responsible in case any customs fees or import taxes are owed. This is usually not an issue for smaller gifts but please make sure you're aware of your country's specific regulations.
