The yarn quality was great and it arrived quicker than expected. However, the yarn was not what is pictured. The pink was orange, the green was not vibrant, and there is none of the speckles shown in the pictures. This looks like a different colorway. It looks more like "georgian rose" colorway instead of "wild rose." Don't get me wrong. I think the shop is amazing and you should support this dyer. I just wanted a very specific color for a very specific project and it was not delivered.

This Advent Set was beautifully packaged in a lovely box and was shipped internationally in plenty of time! I have not opened any of the yarn yet, as I am waiting for December 1 for the included pattern to appear online so that I can copy it. I am sure that the colors to be revealed will be just as beautiful as the box that they came in. I can't wait! I am in love with the theme this year, as I love the Georgian period. I am already looking forward to what is to come next year - Regency or Victorian perhaps?

Hello there! Thank you for paying a visit to my little shop corner of the internet! I hope you find something delightful and beautiful to enhance your creative projects.

Skein and the Stitch grew out of an unexpected hobby and a love for the squishiest yarn I could get my hands on. I've been a knitter for a few years and completely became smitten with the artistry and look of hand dyed yarn. Speckles, stripes, variegation - I loved them all!

As luck would have it, my husband gave me a kit of acid dyes and a few skeins of bare yarn as a Christmas present. From there, I became absolutely hooked and began dyeing up all sorts of colourways. Well, I ended up having more yarn than I could realistically use and after a few months, I did a very brave thing and jumped into the world of hand dyed yarn and have now opened my very own little Etsy shop!

You can expect to see a selection of permanent colourways alongside limited capsule collections from time to time. I also have a collection of my own stitch markers and progress keepers, which are indispensable additions to your knitting or crochet notions kit. These stitch marker sets are all crafted entirely by hand and are the perfect accompaniment to colourwork or lacework projects. I also accept custom orders, so feel free to message me if you don't see something you like or have a yarn-related dream that you'd like to see realised!
