I love to make things and I always have a project in the works! I tend to work in batches. I don't make just one thing from start to finish. I find that my work is more interesting when I have lots of options to choose from. I have an amazing stash of supplies! I use re-purposed wool. Meaning I buy old suits and sweaters and turn them into flowers and animals. I make many of the same things, but no two are exactly alike.

All of the knitted and crocheted hats are made using new materials. I am not currently using re-purposed yarn. I do occasionally make hats from vintage yarn, and that is noted in the listing if it applies. I have been knitting and crocheting since childhood. That means I have a lot of experience! All of the items I make are using best practices, quality materials, and constructed to wear well.

***NEW- 2020- Hand dyed yarn. Dyed one small batch at a time. Each listing is the EXACT skein or set of skeins you will receive. With some dyers, the listing is representative and not exact. I always like to know exactly what I am buying and I bet you do too!,

Making things is a somewhat solitary pursuit. So a community like Etsy is an exciting place to be because it gives me the opportunity to share what I do with an audience that is interested. I like to see what other people are working on as well. It is nice to think that in this complicated world there are people making handmade things at home to sell.
