Welcome to Skullgirdle Ribbonworks. My name is Michelle Reich and I am a craftaholic. I have known how to sew by hand since I can remember. In college I learned the ins and outs of a sewing machine while I was attaining my BFA in fashion design. These days I work in the education industry as a technology helpdesk but have never stopped learning new crafts and working to perfect the ones I already know. I love and adore hand sewing above all other crafts which is what brought me to working with ribbons and bitty hats.
I seem to have a knack for dancing around what is popular without actually doing the popular thing itself. For instance I have big plans to make some Edwardian hats but they will probably be colors that are not as popular with subject matter that is unique. You will definitely see a variety of things here.

Returns and exchanges
Should you receive an item that is damaged I will either bust my rear end to make you another one or if I no longer have the materials either give you a comparable item in its stead or a full refund including shipping. I make things to last and I take pride in that fact. As my customer I will do whatever I can to make you happy with your purchases.
Payment
Please make your payments within 7 days of purchasing an item and I will ship it to you as soon as I am able. At this time PayPal is my only method of accepted payment however please contact me if you want to pay for your item with a check or money order. I realize some people have been burned by PayPal or don't want their financial information sent out on the web so I try to be flexible.
Shipping
Your purchase will go out as soon as humanly possible. Who wants to wait a month and a half when they are excited about their purchase NOW? I ship everything via USPS. I have had better luck with the post office than with any other shipping company so I am sticking with what I like.

If you want a custom order feel free to ask me if I can do it. The worst I can say is no and it won't cost you anything to ask.

Yes, I guarantee all my work. If it's damaged, I'll replace it or refund your money. If you get the item and think it's hideous, then mail it back to me and I will give you a refund for it. Sometimes the picture just does not fully represent an item. So far I've been lucky and everything is better in person however computer screens show colors differently.
