5 out of 5 starsIncredibly easy, this chameleon pattern can be sophisticated, casual, or anywhere in-between depending on the beads chosen. It's looking very good worked up in turquoise picasso 11/0 beads without any accent crystals. I'll be making many more versions of this fun project!

5 out of 5 starsI was hesitant, but I'm glad I ordered the E-book collection. Great inspiration and encouragement to dive right into freeform peyote.

Create * Design * Inspire
I have worked and played with fiber and beads for the past twenty years. My current work combines peyote stitch and right angle weave into abstract, organic patterns that often resemble jewelry.
As much as I like to design, I love to teach because I love to see what other people will do with the same techniques. There are so many possibilities, far more than I can ever accomplish by myself. So help me out - give freeform beading a try!
Towards that end, I self-published my first book, Freeform Peyote Beading, in fall of 2010. Since then I've published two additional books and a series of shorter ebooks and tutorials. My newest book, "Explorations in Freeform Peyote Beading: Designing Original Art Jewelry and Beyond", is my most comprehensive look at freeform bead weaving to date. Featuring the works of nearly two dozen artists from three continents working in the medium, Explorations looks at techniques, inspiration and design processes, including how to get back on track when the design process goes astray.
I also maintain an active blog where I share tips on bead related process, write about my designs, my life as a working artist, and anything that catches my interest: http://baublicious.blogspot.com.

Shipping
I wrap all of my packages in my hand-dyed tissue paper with one of my little Doodle or Fish card thank you notes (2x2”). For the holidays, if you would prefer that each item be wrapped separately or if you’d like a blank gift card for each item, just say the word and it will be so. (I do use a little tape on the tissue paper so the package holds together better.)
{Processing and Shipping}
I will ship your entire order to one address. Please make multiple orders if you’d like to ship to more than one address. I will automatically ship to the address provided by Etsy/Paypal.
Please distinguish between processing time and shipping time. The Processing Time is the time I need to have that specific item ready for shipping. You will find the processing time on top of this page. Most of my items are ready for shipping within 1-3 business days. When calculating the processing time, the day the order was placed is not included.
The shipping time is the time it takes the carrier (USPS or other) to deliver the package to you. Most of my items are shipped via USPS First Class Mail, with delivery confirmation within the US. I ship from Seattle, Washington.
Priority Mail Upgrade: at long last, I've found my way into Etsy's beta shipping upgrade team, so all of my physical listings should have the option to upgrade to Domestic Priority mail. For international packages, I'd need to figure out the shipping, but would get back with you asap.
{Refunding Excess Shipping}
My goal is not to use shipping as another income stream, but there are times when the shipping adds up, especially if you purchase multiple items. Worried you'll pay too much in shipping? I will refund the difference if you've paid more than fifty cents above my actual costs (including shipping materials such as bubble envelopes and mailers).
{Shipping to Alternate Addresses}
I am also happy to ship items directly to your gift recipient, just let me know at check out. I'll need to know the full name and postal address of the recipient. If your purchase is intended as a gift, I'll happily include a little gift card with a short message from you at no extra charge.
