About

Art to Wear ~ Wildlife for your Wild Side

When I started working with polymer twelve years ago I started making animals. Including a few--dragons and mermaids and sea serpents--who live only in my imagination. You don't have to follow the rules or make it look like something specific, if you make it up :)

I love the feeling of the clay. I can add to it, carve into it, push it around and bend it to my will in my never ending quest for world domina--

Wait a second. Wrong website. It's all about the art, yeah that's it. ;) My dragons will not come to life when you're not looking and take over your domicile. That's just preposterous.

Anyway, I tend to work small--the smallest bas-reliefs I've done are about an inch square (so far the largest is 12 inches). At that size, they can get lost on a shelf, but they're the perfect size to hang around your neck or pin to your lapel. That's how I got pulled into making jewelry.

Take a look and let me know if you have any suggestions... Or if you know how to make those pesky zombie dragons keep quiet at night.

Greetings and Salutations!

All my jewelry is sculpted in polymer clay unless otherwise noted. Each piece starts with my own original design. I'm often sculpting details on an animal that's 1-2 inches high.

Additional policies and FAQs
Polymer clay is quite durable. It can be carved though, which means it can be scratched, so don't put it in the bottom of your purse with two sets of keys, your nail files, and assorted misc. hardware. Or am I the only one who carries that sort of thing in my purse? I also wouldn't leave it in your car window in the hot sun.

Don't see the animal or color you're looking for? Convo me. I sometimes accept custom orders.
