This top was no where near a 3X. I am small on top, and I could not even get it o very my chest let alone around my tummy and hips. The T shirt you used was a men's, not a women's plus size T. Sad I could not wear it for the 4th of July.

back-to- hip basics

From a large, sprawling family of thinkers, I remember the original hippies and have an older brother who lived in a hippie commune. So when I come up with my own designs, I recall the original carefree styles that were part of a back-to nature basics outlook, identifying us as a brotherhood of truth seekers, idealists and armchair philosophers. It was a time of living creatively that continues to breathe hip.

And that's what I am all about: authenticity, eco-minded, bohemian, hip.

We accept Paypal and Direct Checkout. Please note: Items will be shipped on receipt of payment- usually 3-5 business days. We ship our orders on Tuesday and Fridays unless otherwise noted.

Paypal and credit cards are welcome!

You do not need a PayPal account to make a payment through PayPal. Upon checking out through Etsy you are able to enter your credit card information into the PayPal website. Simply choose the option to pay by credit card instead of registering.

Payments made through PayPal e-check will be shipped as soon as the payment clears - this can delay your order up to seven days so please keep this in mind when choosing this option.

Payment is expected within 24 hours of order placement. If you require extra time please contact me before placing your order. If no arrangements have been made and payment has not been received after 24 hours I will send a quick reminder via PayPal invoice and also through Etsy Conversations. If payment is not made within 72 hours of purchase the sale may be canceled and the item will be re-listed.
Please note: Items will be shipped as soon as possible, with special orders taking a bit longer. This usually takes 5 to 7 business days. If you would like your item shipped Priority or Express, please convo for price.

Items will be shipped via USPS.

If you need an upgrade for shipping- please contact us prior to ordering.
Tracking information will be sent to the buyer upon shipping.

Please note that any items shipped internationally cannot be tracked, and I cannot be held responsible if those items are lost or damaged. International buyers are responsible for any additional customs charges that may be incurred.

Orders are shipped to the address on file with the following: Paypal( if the customer uses Paypal), and Etsy, (if the customer uses Etsy Direct Checkout) unless otherwise specified. I'm not responsible for items shipped to addresses that are not current, so please double check your information before placing your order. If an item is shipped to someone other than the purchaser I am not responsible for items lost in transit.

Unfortunately, I cannot be responsible for possible shipments delays, loss or damage once the items has been shipped.

If you wish to have insurance added to your item, please let me know via conversation and I will adjust the shipping price accordingly.
Items are shipped within 2-4 business days of receipt of payment, unless it is a custom order. If you contact me regarding a custom order I will estimate for you how the amount of time for completion and keep you updated throughout the process.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: If you are an international bidder, then you will be responsible for any tariffs, charges etc. imposed by your country. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with an item, please let us know ASAP.

Our priority is to make sure that you're satisfied with every purchase you make.

We work under the policy of Satisfaction Guaranteed.
Upon receipt of your package, if there is any problem or anything amiss, please contact us ASAP.

We accept both refunds and exchanges, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
Contact us any time. Unfortunately, custom sized orders, such as belts, cannot be returned-- Exchange only on custom orders (no refunds).

Once shipped, if there is a problem you have 14 days from the date you receive the item to contact us. If you are unhappy with your purchase and wish to return your item, we will issue a full refund minus the original cost of shipping.
Items being returned need to be in ORIGINAL unworn and unwashed condition.

We will issue the refund after we have received and reviewed your return. You are responsible for paying return shipping.

If you wish to exchange your item for a different color, we can make arrangements to do so.

DO NOT launder, stretch, wear, or otherwise alter an item before you are certain you intend to keep it. Doing any of the above listed voids any possible exchange.

We are not responsible for broken or items damaged in the mail or while in your keeping.
Additional policies and FAQs
Our priority is to make sure that you're satisfied with every purchase from Skylark Scarves. Should any problems arise please know that we are more than willing to work with you to find a resolution.

We aim for as much accuracy as possible in photographing and portraying the colors of our items but colors may vary slightly from monitor to monitor. Please check the length of the scarf which is listed in the description to obtain an accurate understanding of its dimensions.

Please note: Coupon Codes are not available for Custom Orders

If you would like to send an item as a gift, just let us know!
We are more than happy to include a note/card from you to the recipient. Please let us know what you would like the note to say as well as the address is it will be shipped to. Also, in letting us know ahead of time the item is a gift, we will not include a receipt.

We are willing to gift wrap items for no additional cost. Please convo us for more information.
