The background material is natural, unbleached muslin with its' characteristic bits and pieces among the weave. These imperfections add charm, warmth and a homespun feeling. Hand embroidered "messages" tell you care when words fail. Let these pillows express your feelings in a lasting way. An inch and a half border of calico sets off the embroidery. The pillow backing fabric, in most cases, matches the front border fabric.
