"I rarely sew, but I couldn't resist this mesh...I won't finish this costume dress for months, but I'll list it when I do. The tag is irrelevant. They make you tag something."
"Just put in my submissions for ARTfall and this was one. Copper and glass flower bird bath. Pretty cute if I do say so myself."

About things

About Me:
I consider myself an artist and have degrees in both Art and English (because I'm practical). I abandoned the visual arts long ago (though I have always remained in the arts in general) because I thought it would never go anywhere. It wasn't until I started everyday art and crafting that I became a profitable visual artist. I am deeply grateful to all of the people who have made me an artist who works and renewed my faith in the possibilities of the arts and a life dedicated to them.
2023 Update: If you've read my about section before, then you might know I have promised changes in 2023. And what will these changes be? Well, I won't be making my glass suncatchers in 2023, though I will be selling off my remaining stock until it is gone (which I expect to be spring 2023). Why? They are an enormous amount of labor and time. After making about 1000 of them (which is about 30,000 pieces of glass cut, ground, and drilled!), I am ready to move on from them. I will still be making larger glass works, though. I will also still do a few shell chimes.

What about clothes? I will still be making clothes and since I've discovered a few new techniques and ideas recently, my interest in them continues...at least for awhile yet. In fact, I imagine my clothing offerings expanding in 2023.

So I said what I won't be doing, but what will I be doing that's new? I'll be working on some larger sculptures this year and at least one very large painting project (and a few regular sized, too). For the last few years, I have focused on utility art, and if I hadn't done that, I wouldn't have sold any. But this year I am going to focus on sculpture, lanterns, fountains, and large oil projects. I've been recently studying up on illumination techniques, so that'll be cool. I'll likely be working with more metal this coming year and....plastic. Yes. Plastic. I learned a really cool method to treat plastic that makes it look really awesome and the world is so full of old plastic...so why shouldn't I sculpt with it? I'll show you at some point. It's a lot prettier and cleaner than you are picturing! I guess that's it for my update this year.

Frequently asked questions

What about customs?

By far, the most common custom requests I get are for clothes, but right now, I am not taking on any new clothing customs. Glass has 2 week min wait times. Painting commissions always have long wait times because I'm a slow painter. I don't finish my oils or glass mixed media in a day. Each one takes a minimum of 8 weeks and some oil paintings take me several months to finish. Oils take forever to dry!

How will my item be packed/shipped?

For most clothing, I ship first class mail in waterproof mailers. All items have tracking.

For paintings & wind-chimes- these all ship with tracking & most are insured by USPS against shipping damage. I do my best to pack them so that they are safe and padded, but my packing is not beautiful! They ship in boxes with padding material inside. Please contact me right away with photos of any damage if your item does not arrive safely!

I try to get items in the mail the business day after I get your order, but certain items take up to 5. I will always wait at least 2 hours before I ship, in case you develop buyer's remorse and want to cancel.

Return Conditions

Buyer pays return shipping & once I receive the item in the same condition as I sent it to you, you will be refunded the item price. Shipping price is not refunded. The best thing to do is to try to make sure it's something you want before you purchase...If you have any questions about an item or are unsure of specifications, sizing, materials, etc., please don't hesitate to ask.
