Sleepy Hollowed Books are old books that have been hollowed out and upcycled into book safes, flask stashes, and jewelry boxes. The holes are cut in a variety of shapes and sizes, and the pages are glued down with three layers of glue and sealant. In most of the books, strong neodymium magnets are hidden in the corners underneath decorative endpapers to keep them shut. In other books, there are a number of pages that have not been glued down in order to make it look like a normal book. These book safes are sturdy and each one is a unique piece of art. They can be used to hide valuables, or as decor in your home library.

I have been making book safes for a few years now and I am loving it. The process, the control over my work, the happiness it brings to me and my customers. I have found it to be a wonderful creative outlet and I feel that I bring something new to the weird world of "blooks."
