About ButtonsThree

Sales 392
On Etsy since 2011

Monday, Tuesday, happy days . . .

I am so happy in my craft room surrounded by my supplies. I have always loved paper, yarn, and fabric, and until recently I've not had enough time for them. Now I do. Woo-hoo! I hate when routine cleaning and laundry interfere, so I do those things on a prn basis (medical talk for "as needed"). Retirement has been fun and I recommend it highly.

Colors and textures. Wow. Even during the darkest time of the year, I get to play with them under my bright work light. Am I lucky or what?

ButtonsThree showcases my life-long obsession with paper, yarn, and their paraphernalia. Now I get to do it full time. Retired from nursing, I'm thrilled to sit at my work table or in my knitting room, energized by color and texture. And Netflix.

Welcome to ButtonsThree, my outlet for obsessive yarn and paper behavior.

I LOVE knitting, crocheting, and paper crafting, and am delighted to make things that people can wear, use, and give as gifts. Cards and card sets are usually ready to ship, but can be made to order on request.

If you are unhappy with anything you order, please contact me via Etsy Conversations (Etsy will also send me an email) and the issue will be addressed and resolved promptly. I'll answer you ASAP. Please know that I truly care about our experience together and want you to experience the joy of handmade.
All major credit cards, as well as Etsy gift cards and Apple Pay, are accepted. Sales tax will be added according to state requirements.
I will ship items via USPS first-class. If you require a different shipping method, please convo me and I will arrange it. Please note, however, that additional charges will have to be added. As soon as I see an order, I will send it out within 2-3 business days if it is in stock. If the original has already been purchased, I will make it to order. It may take up to a week or two, depending on how busy my needles, hooks, and paper cutter are. But I am fast!
Additional policies and FAQs
Everything in this shop is HANDMADE by me in my smoke-free and, sadly, pet-empty home.

Acrylic yarn is vegan and non-allergenic. Cotton, bamboo, and tencel are also vegan and made from renewable resources.

Custom orders are welcome. If there are no options on the listing, please contact me via Etsy Conversations and arrangements can be made.

If you request an adult version of a baby hat (either in the shop now or in the section for sold items), I will contact you to let you know if any changes will have to be made to achieve the same look, such as a thicker yarn, bigger gauge, or different embellishment. You have final approval. Of course an adult hat will cost more than a baby hat, considering the greater amount of yarn required.

If you would prefer particular colors, please be as specific as you can. Everyone knows Crayola colors, so if you have some handy, check out those, because I have some too and we can communicate via crayon.

Sometimes buttons adorn the hats. In order to avoid having a little one pull the button off and risk choking, please watch your babe to catch him red-handed!
I also use a drop of washable fabric glue to adhere buttons to baby items.

I can accommodate bulk orders on certain items, like can and bottle cozies and coasters. Note cards as well. However, additional time will be required.

Making things for people is a joy for me.
