Rediscovering & reimagining vintage and orphaned fabrics. Landfill: a cruel, pointless end to a textile existence.

I think we’re here for the same reason — we *could* be at the mall; we *could* get that iconic label but....well..... sometimes style means tongue-in-cheek, means, “seriously though....,” means colouring outside the lines.

I renew, recycle and reimagine vintage linens and misfit scraps. Sewing serendipity emerges after hours of vintage hunting, fabric decisions & indecisions, and yes, unpicking stitches. It is messy but rewarding.

I hope you enjoy my pieces as much as I enjoy finding and creating them.

How do I clean the aprons?

The material used has been washed and put through the hottest dryer, so that it is clean and pre-shrunk. No surprises. Having said this, aprons with embroidery (which will always be vintage) and/or trim should be washed on a delicate cycle.
Do not iron trim (like pom poms etc.). (Heck -- do not iron anything. Free yourself from the oppressive tyranny of hot steam :)

How do i care for my tote bag?

All the bags should be spot cleaned only.

Keep in mind that all the tote bags are assembled from various materials (leather, linen, cotton etc.) Often vintage. So expect the odd imperfection (kind of like people). Embrace the unique.
Rest assured, however, that I AGONIZE over my fabric choices and cuts and everything is very carefully and thoughtfully constructed.

How will this be shipped & when will i receive it?

I spent eons of time making it and you spent the same to choose just this one, so it will most definitely be packaged with great care.
Each package is insured.

NORTH AMERICA:
Expect the package to arrive in about a week, once shipped. I will provide you with a more specific time frame whenever possible. There will be a tracking #.

INTERNATIONAL: It is ridiculously expensive to ship things overseas from Canada. I pack small & try to keep costs low. This means that there will be no tracking. Nonetheless, shipping time may be AS LONG AS A MONTH. ( I don’t like it anymore than you do). We can discuss expedited shipping. Send me a convo. I’m not making money on this; it is just an unavoidable hurdle.

Are you really allergic to smoking cats?

See my profile for more insight, but yes, I am terribly allergic to animals and smoke — so I don't work around any of those things!

How do returns and exchanges work?

I guarantee that you will be happy shopping here. If you ever feel the need to return an item, that's OK, just let me know. I get it. It happens. You will be reimbursed your full costs (item + outgoing shipping costs, if any). I ask only that you pay the shipping to return it to me.

That being said, this purchase is meant to take you to your happy place. If for ANY reason you aren't 100% satisfied, please talk to me first. I can sort it out for you much quicker if you convo or email me than if you leave me feedback with your problem. I am on my email all day and will see it much much sooner!

Returns not accepted on customised or personalised items, but you get to check it by photograph before I post to avoid any issues.

Can I put an item on reserve or lay away?

I am happy to put an item on reserve for you for an agreed amount of time. Do contact me if you have any questions or special requests. I’m sorry, but I don’t do lay aways.
