Little beauties! They look just like real persimmons in color and shape, just tiny. The owner has innate artistry which shows up in everything: the workmanship of the earrings, the cleverly wrapped gift box with charming tag, which itself is wrapped in a way not requiring scotch tape. This is definitely a favorite store. Oh - and, since I have long hair and have too often lost an earring taking a sweater off over my head, or having the earring catch in my hair, she was willing to change the hooks to closed clasps. Definitely 5 stars.

About

My Chance to Follow a Dream

Thank you for stopping by my little shop.

I started making bead rings when I was eight or nine. I don't remember why I started, but I thought it was fun and I was really into it.

Then, when I was a college student in NYC, I found plastic shops on Canal Street and started making earrings with geometric plastic pieces. People who saw them really liked them and told me I should sell them. But it was before the internet, and I didn't know how. After I started working in the design industry, I was way too busy, so I just stopped making jewelry.

I moved to Phoenix in 2010 because of my husband's business. After working 25 years as a full time designer, I suddenly became a housewife and found I had a lot of free time.

I found a local bead shop named Beads World by chance and started taking classes. It was the first time that I learned jewelry making from someone. I didn't even have the proper tools until I started classes. Because it is so hot here in Arizona and I don't drive, jewelry making is a perfect hobby for me.

After a few months, I found Etsy. I FINALLY got a chance to sell my jewelry which I was dreaming of for so long! I truly enjoy every moment I make jewelry. I also love communicating with people who are interested in my jewelry.
