Excited to share that the paper version of The Bower-A Journal of Homemaking, premiere edition, created in 1997 and often requested, is available in my shop!
Designing and testing is all done and the new Peaceful Homeschooling Pages are in my shop! It feels so good to have a new, much more encompassing set of planning pages than the ones I made fifteen years ago. And this set will keep evolving, too...
Very excited to share my first ebook & printables! Brand new in the shop. I am working on two more sets and hope to get them up before I leave for a trip to Seattle. These are instant downloads...a small, peaceful portion of Wild Simplicity. xo Lesley

About

I create beautiful and useful paper goods for your every-days….

More than fourteen years ago, I designed and created a line of stationery and paper goods called Small Meadow Press. It was born out of my desire to fashion earth-friendly stationery to truly support a woman's daily life….calendars, letter paper, greeting cards, notebooks.

I had to stop in 2009 to care for my dear mom who had Alzheimer's. It has been four years since she died (peacefully, at home!) and I had been pouring most of my creativity into my online offerings. But a few years ago had the desire to be making again. And in the last two years, I have focused on my long-dreamed of planner-The Wild Simplicity Daybook. It has been warmly received, has become the first planner I've used that I didn't toss aside after a short while and will be ever-evolving...

I have a real passion to create beautiful things that serve a woman's life...and at as little cost to the earth as possible. All my papers and ingredients are as recycled as possible, or tree-free, or vintage.

I am in what I call my Rosehip years, done with my mothering and caregiving for the moment and exploring how best to live my life. Some of what I offer here are the tools I've created to live life more simply….some are just for beauty…and some are to help us stay connected and loving and tending our lives as well as we may.

I truly appreciate your interest and hope that you enjoy exploring my pages here….

Hello! You've arrived on the doorstep of my shop where I offer the earth-conscious paper goods I delight in creating. At the moment, I am making things from the paper stash I kept after closing Small Meadow Press in 2009 to care for my mother. So, depending upon what tree-free supplies will be available in the future, some items may only be available for a short time.

It is important to me to make everything to do with my business tread as lightly upon the earth as possible, so I aim for simplicity and thoughtfulness at each step along the way, from the designing to packaging to shipping.

The artwork in my creations may be a combination of vintage images (mostly from my beloved antique book collection), my handmade stamps, antique paper ephemera and occasionally my photography.

Returns and exchange details
In the many years I created and mailed my stationery goods through Small Meadow Press, I never needed to give a refund or resend an order because of damage in shipping.

With my Small Meadow Etsy shop, I strive for the same level of satisfaction with the orders I fill and send out. If you are ever unhappy with your order, in any way, please get in touch and I will do my best to remedy the situation, to both our satisfactions.

:: RETURNS ::

I used to have it my policies that I accepted returns, but having just experienced my first (a customer ordered the wrong insert) I will have to decline them in the future. It is challenging to package fragile paper goods for safe transit and, understandably, you may not be able to send it back to me well-protected.

Buyer is responsible for:

✦ providing a correct mailing address on Etsy.
✦ providing the correct spelling of names and messages when ordering.
Payment
I accept both PayPal and credit cards through Direct Checkout.

Please don't hesitate to contact me should you need help along the way.I will do my best to solve any problems, answer questions or unravel ordering mysteries.
Shipping
All items will ship after payment clears, and within 5-7 business days. I make a trip to the post office once or twice a week, in an effort to keep life as balanced as possible. But should you want something more quickly, it never hurts to ask...I may be able to accommodate your wish.

POSTAGE
I ship via the U.S. Postal Service.

This will be my first go-round with Etsy's new shipping calculator and have high hopes that it will be accurate and helpful, tho' I am not sure how it will handle a combination of items. If the difference between the actual shipping costs and what you paid is more than $2.00, I will gladly refund the difference.

Using recycled and tree-free packaging is very important to me. I use 95% post-consumer boxes to ship, occasionally re-using a box that came to me, recycled tissue paper and labels. And I try to make your package as pretty as I can, when possible, with added embellishments...but it is always put together with gratitude...

All items ship to the buyer's address, as it appears on Etsy.

You will receive a notification message once your item has shipped with tracking number, when applicable.
