About

Delivering Smiles and Delight Since 2010.

I like to think of the Smile Mercantile as an old-time General Store with friendly and reliable folk working behind the counter. I source quality craft supplies from all over the globe, and especially enjoy finding special vintage-style items that inspire nostalgia. Many of the handmade seasonal decorations in the shop are inspired by antique Christmas ornaments and old-world designs.

All orders are carefully packaged, and ship worldwide from Seattle. I am 100% committed to customer satisfaction. Please feel free to contact me at any time: valerie [!at] smilemercantile.com

Frequently asked questions

When will my order ship?

Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days. I do not ship on holidays or weekends.

How long does shipping take?

Domestic:
Standard first class shipping is typically 4-7 business days within the US. Priority Mail is 2-3 days to most areas. These times are estimates provided by the USPS, and are not guaranteed.

Large orders over 4 pounds are shipped via FedEx, which usually takes about 5 business days.

I offer free shipping for US orders over $75, and these orders are shipped using the lowest-cost method.

International:
International shipping times vary greatly, and cannot be estimated. 2-4 weeks is typical for many destinations, but customs-related delays can extend the shipping time significantly.
