About

Beautiful things...made to last and to be enjoyed!

Hi,
I was raised in Texas and have lived in North Carolina, the Midwest, and now the West, where I call the Denver area my home. I also lived in Europe for a few years. Each place has its own unique personality, both in culture and climate, and has become a part of who I am. I have a degree in Fashion Merchandising and have worked in the retail industry as a buyer and in sales and management, but have always loved the creative process.
I love pulling together unique materials and allowing them to transform in the design process, always with the purpose of the piece in mind. I work in a very detailed and thorough manner. My husband (a Chemist by trade), says I would have made a great Chemist, but I prefer mixing scrumptious textiles, luscious fibers and all manner of lovely materials to create something beautiful that will bring delight to someone's heart. Observing nature gives me great inspiration. It is so complex and alive and beautiful. My goal is to achieve a balance of function and beauty with each piece I create.
I love to connect, so feedback is always welcome! I hope you enjoy my shop and come visit often as I am always adding new things to the mix.
