Welcome to Smoky Mountain Fibers! Located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, Smoky Mountain Fibers is a one-woman studio that is pet-free and smoke-free. I spin, dye, knit, felt and design patterns using the highest quality materials.

I have been working with fibers for most of my life and began selling my work at boutiques, craft shows and yarn shops more than 10 years ago. I love my work!

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
I prefer PayPal, but also accept checks, money orders and credit cards. If I don't receive an automatic notice from PayPal, I check my account (sometimes payments don't get to my email account), then I'll contact you.

NC residents must pay sales tax, and PayPal collects it for us. If you need to cancel an order, please contact me and I'll take care of it.
Shipping
I usually ship the next business day after I receive payment. Small, single items are usually shipped first class mail; larger and multiple items usually go Priority. I usually only insure purchases over $40 - I 'self-insure' anything less. In my 2000+ sales, only one has been reported lost - pretty good odds.

I estimate postage based on shipping from my studio in North Carolina to California. If you live closer, that could be too much. If shipping is more than $1 higher than my estimate, I will refund the overage via Paypal.

If you order a pattern, I usually send them the same day via email to the Paypal email address. If you do not get your pattern within 24 hours, please contact me. Sometimes hard-working spam filters snag them!

I do ship internationally, convo me.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please convo or email me promptly. I want you to be satisfied and will work with you to make it happen. That may be in the form of a return and refund or exchange. Sorry, I do not refund shipping charges.
