Collecting and gathering is in my genes

I started my Etsy store as a means to sell overstocked jewelry findings, beads, and my own flameworked (lampork) beads. I lost interest in that about 7 years ago.

I recently started repurposing thrifted cotton sheets into clothes in the Lagenlook/Boho style, when I stumbled across many people online who were making and selling patterns. One of these patterns was for leggings. Being a lover of LuLaRoe but having a Walmart budget, I thought it would be a great idea to make some leggings for myself. I could pick my own fabric, and I would no longer need to pay retail prices for leggings.

Well.

I made leggings, but theywere coming in at pretty much what I paid for them at retail. And there was a lot of fabric left over that wasn't really big enough to do anything with ... except make headbands!

I tested these out on my friends who are way more active than I, and they told me thay loved them - they stayed in place while they were running, riding the Harley, gardening, you name it! So Better Bands Headbands was created.

But there's more. Way more. As I said, collecting is in my genes. My grandfather collected junk ... um ... I mean collectibles, as does my mum. She sells on Etsy too (Her store is JackieMcEwan.)

I hope to reclaim some space in my house by reselling many of the beautiful things I's stashed away for a rainy day. You never know what will come next, so keep checking back!

I've been making things since I started making dresses for Sindy, Tressy, & co. Making doll clothes expanded into making jewelry, and then making beads to make into jewelry. I also fill my house with overstock estate sale items. Help! Buy my stuff!
