Thank you, my son loves your soaps. He's going away for a year, so I had to stock him up before he left.

Buy it. Try it. Make it. Love it.

Established in 2001, Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen is a one woman operation, owned and run by myself, Rebecca D. Dillon. I started my small indie business shortly after I began making handmade, shea butter soaps as an alternative to commercial soaps that often dried out my own sensitive - and occasionally eczema prone - skin. Having always been crafty and never without paper, crayons, tape and scissors on hand as a child, I graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Roanoke College in 2000. While there I studied a bit of everything including photography, screen printing, graphic design, pottery, 3-D design, drawing, painting, art history, poetry and even writing. Due to this experience I have a huge appreciation for talented artisans and handmade products. I am currently a divorced mother of a ridiculously awesome teenage son and I enjoy reading, shopping, listening to live local music, dancing, the occasional karaoke and, of course, making handmade soaps and other natural bath and beauty products.

After over a decade of crafting and selling soaps online and within my local community, I've decided that I what I really want to do is spend my free time developing new soap, bath and beauty recipes to share with others. As life changes required that I now work full time for a small business rather than for myself, I've decided to focus less on selling products and more on creating them. Because of time constraints of having a full time job while managing my fibromyalgia, I've formed a new philosophy for Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen - Buy it. Try it. Love it. Make it. - in which I create new recipes and DIY projects to share on my blog and then sell the limited edition resulting products. This allows me not only to share my best selling tried and true homemade soap recipes, but also gives me the opportunity to make something new and exciting on a consistent basis, try new ingredients and then share the resulting recipes for you to try for your own home or small business.

If you see something you love in my shop, buy it then try it. If you love it, then make it with the accompanying recipe that can be found on my blog, Soap Deli News. Your purchase of these products help me to continue to buy new ingredients and create new handmade soap and bath and beauty recipes for your use while at the same time allowing me to not only make a better living but also pay for the growing upkeep and hosting for my blog, Soap Deli News.

Welcome to Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen. My business was founded in 2001 when I began making handmade shea butter soaps as an alternative to commercial soaps which I found drying and would often break out my skin. I hope you like my alternatives as much as me and my family do.

Please note that all listings on etsy are for a single item ie. single bar of soap or single lotion unless otherwise stated in the listing and are in stock at time of sale.

Additional policies and FAQs
If you have a coupon code, enter it in the coupon code box at checkout and apply it to your purchase. I do NOT make adjustments or refunds to paid purchases should you fail to enter your coupon code at checkout before making payment.

Additionally, price adjustments are not made for items that may go on sale after purchase. However, Rebecca's Soap Delicatessen does send out coupon codes with orders that you are welcome to use on your next purchase before the expiration date.

Please note that because these are handmade products and are not mass produced that quantities are limited. In the event an item(s) you order is out of stock due to human error you will be refunded for that item(s). Additionally, due to the handmade nature of these products there may be natural variations from product to product. You may notice color and style variations between soaps as every batch is unique.

I reserve the right to cancel any order I see fit should I feel it is fraudulent or am not comfortable with the transaction.
