Hello! Welcome to my store! I am a one-woman business designing, making, and packing all my own products. I started this as a small part-time business to support my family and to fulfil a life-long goal of making embroidered patches. I've been a patch collector and battle jacket enthusiast since I was 14, a very long time ago back in 2006. I started with some t-shirt design and a bit of web design until I had the start-up funds afford my first embroidery machine in 2020. Since then the business has grown to a full-time gig for me, but it's still just me and my bedroom/workshop making all your favourite patches.

I have two young daughters (identical twins) who are diagnosed with autism, and a few long-term health issues myself including ADHD. Life really cannot be more expensive for my household and as my husband works part-time to be a carer to one of our daughters when she's not in school, the onus is on me to work however much I can to build this store up to be something that can really take care of myself and my family, as well as being the voice for the never-ending advocation needed as we navigate a school system that isn't really built for children with disabilities (or parents that have their own neurodiversity's!).

I'm someone that really struggled in their 20's to build a career, having suffered bullying that ended my education early due to being the weird, emo LGBTQ+ kid back in the 00's when things were far less kind and understanding. This business working well is like a dream come true to me, as sad as that sounds. I feel like you have all given me the opportunity to make my 30's something to be proud of, rather than job hopping and struggling for a paycheck.

Everything in my store is either something I'm interested in, a cause I believe in, a disability that has affected myself or someone I deeply care about, or about music and media that I have had a special interest in (I honestly could talk all day about music genres and sub-genres I like, and possibly tell you a fact or something interesting about one of the dozens of sub-genres of metal and punk).

Embrace your weirdness and always be proud of the things you believe in if they can make a positive difference in people's lives. That's pretty much a one-sentence summary of how I approach life. I am proud to have many customers who share that.
