Announcement   Sodé handbags are one-of-a-kind bags that are made from vintage kimono. Sodé 袖 means sleeve in Japanese, and it was a kimono sleeve that inspired the first bag I made. Most of the kimonos used for the bags were purchased at the Toji-temple antique market in Kyoto, Japan. Some of the fabric is purchased on rolls that never became garments, but most of the fabric came from vintage kimono which I've taken apart and remade into the bags you see here.

Thanks so much, I love my bag! It's very well-made and colorful, just as I'd hoped it would be. I've added your shop to my favorites and will be checking back again soon. Recommended!
