I never received this product. I've tried multiple times to contact the shop and received no response. Very disappointed.

Lucid dreams

I opened this shop as a creative path… I was in a job that was all cold and square, didn’t leave any room to creativity; when I left it, it was time for me to re-take everything I loved to do (and make). I heard about Etsy through a stoy featured in one of my mom’s magazzines (I think it was FIRST for Woman), and immediately fell in love with it, so I wanted to be a part of it right away.

I always incorporate AT LEAST one element from nature in all my designs, and try to keep my artisans doing the same. In regard to upcycled materials, it always begins with observation and curiosity, I truly believe that there is much more than one side to each story, it is all a matter of figuring out some of the product’s characteristics (will it last? Will the color fade? Will it harden?), and LOTS of experimentation! This is the same filosophy (more than one side to each story) that has lead me to incorporate precious and semi-precious stones in my design; in one hand, I believe that the designs are beautiful enough to be complemented by a precious anything, on the other hand, I think that stones (minerals of fosils) deserve something more than just wire and chain.

I am so lucky to count on very dear friends who believe in my dreams… My long time friend Michael helps me with the Mexican version of the shop, as well as in-person sales and attention to fisical stores . He is also a great advisor when it comes to ANY decision to be made regarding to AxArt.
We work with a very talented photographer, Gerardo, who is responsible for all the images you see.
My dear friend Alejandra designed our new corporate image, so, as anyone can see (and our logo reflects), this is more a community rather than a one person’s work.

From concept to execution, we take care of the minimal detail so we can offer a high quality product. One of the many issues in my country that concern me, is that we are loosing artisans because people don’t appreciate their work as they should – since I think of them as artists, and their work as cultural expression, I participate with them since the pricing of their pieces (and indirectly, helping them give a real value to their work)
As for my personal work, my inspiration in nature, my eyes are always wide open to try to capture even the smallest detail. I try to create some kind of a “wearable reflection of my surroundings”

This shop is full of dreams, hopes, images, beauty, nature, and inspiration, not just from me, but from the talented artisans who trust me with their talented work and companionship.

Thanks for visiting us!
