Thanks for shopping at Soft Parade Vintage My philosophy is that there are too many amazing clothes out there to wear the same thing as everyone else. Reusing anything is great for the environment, including clothing and home decor, and it directly links us to our history.

Shipping
All items ship USPS first class. If the item is over 50 dollars I will ensure it. Please let me know if you need the item faster and I will send you an invoice for the upgrade in shipping. GIFT WRAPPING IS AVAILABLE please let me know at time of purchase, and also let me know if you would like a special message included if you are sending this as a gift.
Refunds and Exchanges
I try to present the items in their best light but I also want to make sure you're aware of any flaws before you purchase an item. That being said it's hard to detail every single snag in an open knit sweater that's 30 years old, it doesn't leave much room to appreciate the good qualities.
Finding and wearing vintage clothing is great for so many reasons, but be aware: these clothes are OLD and in most cases they have been WORN and loved. I have judged any item in my shop to be worth sharing and wearing and do not list anything I wouldn't wear myself. I study each item carefully and price it honestly based on what I find.

I do not accept returns. However, if I have portrayed an item in a dishonest way, and of course it's easy to miss things when estimating an items value, please let me know. I ask that you please contact me directly with any questions, complaints or concerns. If an item is damaged or lost in the mail I can offer a shop credit for the same amount as priced before shipping.
Additional policies and FAQs
In many cases, such as jewelry and home decor items, a certain amount of wear or tarnish add to an items' vintage charm. In the case of clothing, wear and tear is less desirable but an item of clothing can still have plenty of life in it. I rate the items as such:

Excellent condition: no strong evidence of use, item appears almost new
Good: item has obviously been warn but there are no evident rips or tears
Fair: there are some flaws (which will be detailed in the description) but the item still has plenty of life in it.

I measure each garment laying it flat on a table. As you know, many items that say small can fit a large person and items that say large can fit a small person, it all depends on how you want to style it. The stretch of the fabric should also be taken into account. A good way to judge if you'll like the fit of an item is to measure something that has a great fit for you and compare it to the measurements shown.
