My name is Venita, and I am a single parent of a 27 yr.old son, 13 yr. old daughter and a 6 yr.old grandson. I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington home of the Seahawks...which I am a definite number 12 (which is a fan).
I been crocheting for about 16 yrs. and have been in business for about 4 yrs. I actually started selling my merchandise because my mom would continuously tell me that I could sell my afghan throw blankets. Which I did sell more then enough of those. But then I started crocheting earrings, which turned into ribbon earrings, hand painted wood earrings, paper and beaded earrings.
But I was only selling my items part time on the weekends at festivals and events. I started selling my merchandise full time because I wanted to spend more time with my parents who both have life threatening illnesses. My mother has C.O.P.D (chronic lung disease) and my father has pancreatic cancer, which chemotherapy has been some long days many visits to the ER. I love them dearly and appreciate all they have done for me in my life. So I want to make them as comfortable as I can make them.
All my earrings are light in weight. I don't like how earrings can be so heavy that it splits the earlobes or even stretch them out of shape. I will use plastic canvas, wood and bangles to create my unique, trendy and stylish earrings.
I love to create things with my hands. I love earrings. And I definitely love hearing my customers tell me that I have made them happy. Happy Customer Happy Designer.
