XXL Bright Beautiful Custom Hand Dyed REAL Rooster Feather Hair Extensions & Craft Supplies Store

I live, sleep & eat all things etsy. (that's partially true, I probably do an unhealthy amount of shopping on etsy) and will continue to grow on their platform. Over the years I have taught myself how to run a successful handmade SOLO operated NO employees shop. I am handmade, I am self-taught, I am proud of myself. :) I love etsy so much I even bought my first stock in this particular company. No other company offers artists a chance to make a living in the real-world as etsy. I love them.

I am a feather collector and hoarder. I struggle with basics of paying attention so if you need a hand-holder I may not be a good fit for you. But I will always try to do my very best job and have reasonable prices on one of a kind and custom dyed feather products.

    Terra overseas that mommy makes things correctly. Here we are felting cat beds and had just dyed Merino wool. She picks her own colors because she is the boss of me. Obviously feathers come from birds and my items do not come from a pet free home

Shop Policies as of 7/12/2021
- Orders placed on the same day (within a few hours) will ship together. Orders not placed on the same day may or may not ship together. They will not always ship together however as one human I may not always be able to or catch orders that needed to be combined.
- Due to an overwhelmingly number of buyers not inputting their shipping address correctly and/or mixing up billing etc and then blaming etsy itself: If you put an incorrect address (for any reason whatsoever) or an incomplete address: before transit: I will only hold your order/items for 24 hours after I have sent you a convo regarding it. If after transit your order is being returned to me bc of a bad address or expired address or problem with mail forwarding (any of the standard usps things) I will not refund the shipping cost when it comes back to me. If you had the free shipping promotion on the order : and it is being returned to me : I will contact you when I receive it back : I will ask you if you want a refund on the merchandise cost OR a re-ship in which YOU (buyer) purchases a new shipping label from me (seller). If you chose to not or simply do not respond to me within 24 hours I will refund the merchandise cost ONLY. You then would need to re-purchase the item. I will not pay out of pocket a second time for re-shipping to you (no matter who or what the circumstances are) .

- Due to the scarcity and popularity of the product I sell/carry sometimes I have to refund/cancel sales.

- I have the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason whatsoever.

- If your package was returned to me for a reason to do with the address: I will not re-ship to the same address as it seems absolutely silly to waste time: mine - theirs or your time later with having to file insurance claims, track it down etc.

- buyers using feedback extortion (before or after sale) are immediately reported to etsy support and I move on from responding until etsy intervenes. (period). I will just STOP responding if you threaten me. I will not make another peep.

- In other words please shop responsibly and make sure your billing and shipping is correct: Sellers don't have access to these things and we can only ship where you tell us to (even if you put the wrong one as a mistake) I hate sounding like such a jerk with these policies but after ten years of doing everything possible to be a good seller / Some people do not care or value the time of their sellers and that's what these policies are in place for :(

- I have $10 minimum purchase/order if you are ONLY purchasing "hair extension tools" like beaders - I will simply refund and return and void/cancel the sale. My mail carrier (and honestly me as well) we don't want to pack up a ton of $4 items and fill up our time scanning chasing down or having you leave us bad feedback for made overseas crap products) I offer these "tools" to my feather extension clients only. I don't just sell one hair beader for example. It's just not worth it to ship low dollar items when you can buy them at wallyworld. I have to pay out of pocket to insure those items and have stopped doing this. With covid I try to avoid driving mail in to the USPS main building and interacting. It keeps me healthy and safe and you as well (although you may not see it as such) filling my post office box with $4 orders hurts everyone (globally) and the environment too.

All international orders have invoices and full amounts declared inside and outside of the package - NO IFS no ands no buts (no exceptions / I'm sorry). You can mark the package as a gift on etsy - but that IS NOT for what you think it is. It means I won't include the internal invoice with receipt amounts - however the price WILL still be stated on the front of the package and so will the invoice. Using "gift" as an international buyer feature is pointless. Now I have explained why :) Regardless if it is a gift or not - someone will see the amount and invoice. (regardless of what you want bc I like to insure packages and therefor include the invoice).

If for any reason you are not happy with the product please contact me here:
with the order number and last name and problem you have with the order so I can try to make it right. Please do this before leaving feedback for my shop. Once a negative review is in place I seal the deal with my response (it is only fair) *I do not refund orders in which the buyer leaves three or less stars* - I have sold online for many years and do take this seriously and understand products may not be what you expected. There is this new wave of buyers that frequent etsy/amazon sellers that purchase your lowest ticketed items solely in trade for $ by competition vendors. It is disgusting they do this just to leave one star :( So if you just drop me a one star review without allowing me to make it right - I probably won't have a great attitude and wish to contact you to make it right. It is not appropriate and since sellers cannot leave feedback for buyers the only thing we have is our feedback for showing "we take all this serious"
- Contact me if a problem should arise - I cannot accept any returns, exchanges or cancellations. In rare cases if I make a mistake I request for package to be shipped back if buyer is wanting refund but it is only when I make the mistake - If it is something you simply don't want that is buyers remorse and unfortunately not taking returns bc of covid-19. Refunds and returns are a case by case basis.

Refund Policy :
- if you are not happy with your purchase contact me immediately within 24 hours so I can review the error. My refund policies are a case to case basis. I am extremely easy to work with (within reason) so if any problems arise - message me allow me to make it right before you leave feedback.
If you are not happy with something write me: I am one human solo operated shop and DO care if you are not totally happy.
Let me know your full name and order number when you contact with the problem of your order.

If we have made arrangements to return an item : this item is to be received by me (seller) from you (buyer) within 10 days or the refund is void.

In the event of a return the customer is responsible for the return postal costs to me.

Please DO NOT just ship a package back to me without communication first.
I have specific instructions after you contact me for returning packages after we both agree to a solution to correct the error.
Please be courteous and kind and contact me within 24 hours of delivered goods to make arrangements to return goods for any reason. If I have made an error contact me via etsy convo's and let me try to fix it for you. Once feedback is left - I don't process refunds or returns.

If you are wanting a full refund please do NOT open the packages - since these products are used in hair for sanitary reasons I cannot accept returns on used or opened items. Please leave items you wish to return in the original un-opened condition. Even when I make the error - I do expect you to not open the items as unfair as it sounds - If you open them it voids any potential refund - I cannot resell opened items.

Buyers should know their taxes and duties they will owe - it is against the law to ask me to adjust the invoice or mark it a gift. I will not do this - It's fraud and I will not commit fraud. If I see this on a checkout note to me : I will still fill the order but will NOT lie on the customs forms. That being said - Please don't think because you live in an international place you can say you "marked it as a gift" and customs tried charging you. You bought it as merchandise from me regardless of your intent for the product, I have to ship the way that is mandatory for insuring that package and that is to declare the full amount inside on the outside package.

- Regarding VAT and other international taxes on imported goods:


I, the sender have no control or means of handling that fee since it is not levied or even determined until it reaches the destination country. USPS regulations also prohibit senders from paying the taxes/duties of the receiver. I am NOT responsible for any import or taxes (including VAT / UK) - this is up to your country and I in the United States of America am not legally allowed to discuss your countries taxes on goods, and I do not know how much your taxes on goods will be.

If your country is not on this list I will not ship to you: No exceptions for even previous customers. I am at my wits end with buyers saying they did not receive a package because we cannot track it to their door. So therefor I cannot ship to you anymore.

If a package is confirmed delivered to your correct address that you provided to me, yet you say you did not receive it - a real conundrum for those of us online sellers trying to offer free/reduced shipping in covid times. So even if you paid for the insurance (meaning you ordered a $10 pack of feathers) I charged you the cost of that rate plus the .80 cents for insurance but you say you did not receive it - tracking shows you did I still cannot file an insurance claim! Which is ridiculous and makes me feel crooked but I cannot make handmade products and stay a single one person business if I am spending 90% of my time on shipping woes from USPS :( but it's just not a feature of USPS with first class mail!!! Please do not just be silent if you got one delivered yet you did not get - PLEASE tell me about it. - I do not ever assume things about customers. I don't assume you are lying at all. I know first hand it happens. My own mail carrier once was the thief and stole a $180 collectible rooster saddle out of my locked box and marked it delivered - I immediately called USPS even had him "key into the other boxes local to check them" I was SOL. (that's rhymes with HIT out of luck) It was not the sellers fault :( I ate that cost. I guess my good karma came around 3 months later the seller (bc I was a repeat customer hint hint kept in contact hint hint) out of the blue asks me if I had ever received it, I said nope sadly and they sent me the $180 less shipping back. So don't assume things about me either :) If I am able to help you, I will try.

Please do NOT be discouraged or think for a minute I don't sympathize with you I do there is NOTHING more frustrating than RIGHT now in my life dealing with USPS!

Since I do not use calculated shipping (bc a feather pack is in grams/ounces at best and poly bags add the weight more than a feather) I am taking the worst case rate (zone 8, and adding on .80 cents to that rate)
Cali buyers pay exact - buyers in middle - pay middle - east cost by me buyers will see me getting .20-.45 cents above the cost of shipping. If it's over .50 cents in extra shipping I will refund that to you - But if the cost to process a refund is more expensive on the processor (etsy) I will just let it go. That becomes yes .20 cent profit to me my shop. So I broke that down for you in hopes you will be patient and understanding of ALL sellers shipping rates.

*IF YOUR PACKAGE SHOWS DELIVERED but you claim you do not have it be prepared to make a few phone calls to Usps. 1-800-ASK-USPS :( If a package shows delivered it is up to the buyer to make contact with their local mail carrier and Usps facility. A good starting point is here on Usps. I regret that I cannot perform the missing mail searches for you - Bc I do not have your phone number and email and they need to talk to the "receiver of the package" You go here: then follow the steps to begin a missing mail search.

I don’t reship or refund orders that show the package are delivered. I just cannot stay in business and process refunds when i am getting at least one customer a day - claiming it was not delivered yet tracking shows it was. I will however do my very best to help you fill out forms or answer questions or even make phone calls on your behalf if I find that would be useful to getting help.
There is no reshipping or refunds without a mail theft form being provided to me on these rare types of delivered items. Once you receive your case number from Usps regarding your missing mail searches copy the Usps email confirmation and case numbers over to me via Etsy conversation. This becomes a problem between you and your mail carrier this showing delivered but it’s not and unfortunately it does happen to us all. My job is to receive a positive delivery scan tracking and after that if you don’t have a delivered package, you need to file a lost stolen and missing mail search. You can perform those here:


if the package is simply missing / or the contents of the mail piece have been opened/tampered with / destroyed, please Save all that packaging, save what is inside, take a photo of everything in a group, open etsy convos, send me a message and attach the photo of the missing contents to that and hit send. From there I will try to file an insurance claim. This can be a long process but I will do this as it is my job to do the insurance claims when we CAN start / file a claim. Nothing would make me happier than to watch USPS pay out to us as we have been to them!

I am sorry to be long-winded but really felt it an appropriate time and place to describe why the costs have gone up - what I do from start to finish and how/where I am able to hep you.

If you need me to file an insurance claim I do urge/beg you to NOT leave negative feedback for me. In doing so only makes my attitude suck completely. Sure I will still file the claim for you but I most likely will not be in the most pleasant mood if your intent is solely to hurt my shops rating. If you see I shipped it fast, and the tracking is lagging or sucking Please understand I did the very best I could for you.

Care instructions

Feather hair extensions can be curled, washed & styled. Use a hair flat iron on low heat settings. If feathers have a "wave" from packaging them in my poly-bags, simply brush the feather barbs out with a soft bristle tooth brush *sweet the fibers* - you can also hold the feathers over hot steam to make them straight again. Craft feathers and hair feathers are more durable than one thinks. Feather Extensions can last 2 weeks to 6 months with proper care. (Use low heat settings) and they can last in your hair for months and even be re-used/re-applied

With covid-19 affecting all of us globally - I will not accept returns for any reason whatsoever during this crisis. My order was delivered to an old address

There is nothing I can do if you put an incorrect address and a package is delivered to that address. I cannot file an insurance claim on delivered mail even IF you say you did not receive it. NO exceptions here. All I can do is ship where you tell me to on the package (even if it was an error).
