About

Welcome to our Studio!

At Cloth of Kin weaving studio you will find walls filled with yarns, looms dancing across the floor, swirling bobbins of colour moving in and out of inspirational designs, dye pots waiting, beaters thumping, shuttles flying to quick fingers, and the bright Alberta sky shining in our big picture windows with distant mountain views.

You will hear the sounds of weavers counting picks, rhythmic loom beats, indie radio playlists, steam iron puffing and clicking, bobbin winder whirring, and always the chatter of our lives, loved ones, dreams, designs, and ideas.

We enjoy working with our new customers innovative ideas, creating new design ideas, admiring the beautiful family photos we receive from our fans, while working hard to make high quality textiles from our wide selection of yarns.

Thank you for taking the time to browse our work. If you would like to learn more about our handwoven fabric please visit our website, www.clothofkin.com. Or feel free to come on in through our front door at 5016 - 50 Ave, Rocky Mountain House, AB, Canada.

We appreciate your business that keeps the wonderful craft of weaving alive and keeps us happily, humbly sitting at our looms! Weave on and then, weave on!
