At this time, we do not offer gift wrapping.
How will my original artwork or print be shipped?
Original artwork sold through eCommerce platforms will be protected by a sleeve. Artwork cannot be shipped framed due to the fragility of the glass the frame would require. Rest assured that everything will be packaged properly in order for your work to arrive safely. Where possible, the artwork will be shipped flat in a strong box. In the case of prints or originals that do not fit within a box size permitted by Canada Post, the work will be rolled and shipped in a tube.
Does my original or print includes framing?
Unfortunately, no. All original artwork and prints are sold unframed. It is recommended to frame original watercolours or pastels behind glass upon arrival. A local framer should be able to advise you as per what is the best option for framing your new acquisition.
How do I care for my artwork or print?
Watercolour: Watercolours are done on paper, if left unframed the paper will warp and the paint could fade/smear/run if exposed to humidity or direct sunlight. It is not recommended to hang a watercolour painting (even framed) in a bathroom or in high humidity areas.
On that same note, prints should also be framed and treated like a watercolour as this will ensure that it will last a long time.
Acrylic and Oil: Both are pretty sturdy once dried. It is not recommended to hang either in direct sunlight and not too close to heat source.
The artwork I received doesn't match the colours on my screen.
We try to make sure that the colors you are looking at on your computer screen are as close to the original piece of artwork as possible. There are many different types of devices/computers and monitors and therefore there may be differences in the brightness or colorations of what you see versus the real thing. If this is an issue please contact us so that we can discuss how we can help.
What about returns and refunds?
You may return your item within 7 days of receipt and it must be returned in its original, unused condition for refund.
Contact me in writing prior to return. Carrier tracking number must be provided for the return package in order to qualify for a refund. Returns sent without prior notification are disqualified for refund per Etsy policy.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, shipping cost are not refunded unless there was an order error or product defect.
For return and refund of items broken in transit, photos of the damage to the original packaging and broken item are required before posting back.
Items returned/reshipped due to incorrect address are reshipped at buyer's expense.
