Varför vintage?
Från början tillverkades varor med avsikten att fungera under en längre tid. Så nu är de väl genomtänkta saker med en historia bakom sig, med en själ. Ofta är de ett arv som har förts vidare från en generation till nästa.
För det andra betyder vintage att något redan har använts, så genom att använda och bära vintage-inredning och mode belamrar vi inte världen. För det mesta är de unika skatter och fantastiska pärlor som folk har glömt bort. Vårt jobb är att lyfta fram dem igen.
Vi älskar att restaurera, rengöra och reparera föremål, och vi måste vara mycket försiktiga. Ibland blir ett föremål med en defekt en effekt och det är bättre att lämna det som det är, utan någon restaurering – det framhäver vintagestämningen ännu mer. Ofta tänker vi på hemmet, varifrån en ljusstake eller tavla kommer och vad den har sett, hur den behandlades, vad som hände med den och hur den kom till oss.
Ärligt talat är det synd att vi inte har ett eget familjearv som vi kan visa våra barn. Kanske är det en av anledningarna till att vi älskar vintagesaker så mycket.
Hur och varför kommer varorna till oss?
De hittar vägen till oss på olika sätt. Det är föremål som har blivit onödiga för sina ägare, glömts bort, dammat. Ibland är orsaken att de har mindre defekter och ägarna inte längre är intresserade av dem.
Hur allt började?
Allt började som en harmlös besatthet av vintage heminredning och accessoarer för oss själva. Senare hade vi fler saker i vår ägo än man någonsin kunde behöva. Så vi kom på idén att inte behålla allt för oss själva och dela en liten del av våra skatter med andra. Vi är glada att vi kan glädja så många människor och att de kan bli ägare till något speciellt.
Ofta är det svårt att säga adjö till saker som vi tycker är vackra och fina och gärna vill behålla.
Frakt.
Självklart är det viktigaste att varan kommer fram säkert till destinationen, men vi väljer hellre att använda återvunnet material till paketet – redan använda lådor, bubbelplast och plastpåsar.

Why vintage?
From the start, goods were made with intention to function for a longer period of time. So now they are well-considered stuff with a story behind them, with a soul. Often they are heritage that has been carried from one generation to the next.
Secondly, vintage means that something has been already used so by using and wearing vintage decors and fashion we are not cluttering the world. Mostly they are one of a kind treasures and they are great pearls of whom people have forgotten. Our job is to bring them back to the light.
We love to restore, to clean and to repair the items, keeping in mind that we have to be very careful. Sometimes an item with a defect becomes an effect and it is better to leave it as it is, without any restoration - it brings out the vintage mood even more. Often we think about the home, from where a candle holder or painting has come and what it has seen, how it was treated, what happened to it and how it traveled to us.
To be frank, it is a shame that we do not have family heritage of our own, that we could show to our children. Maybe that is one of the reasons why we love vintage stuff so much.
How and why the items come to us?
They find the path to us in different ways. They are items that have become unneeded by their owners, forgotten, with dust. Sometimes the reason is that they are with minor defects and the owners are not interested in them anymore.
How it all started?
It all started as harmless obsession with vintage home decors and accessories for ourselves. Later we had in our possession more stuff than one could possibly need. So we came up with the idea of not keeping it all to ourselves and to share a little part of our treasures with others. We are glad that we can bring joy to so many people and they can become owners of something special.
Most of the time it is hard to say goodbye to items that we find beautiful and lovely and would like to keep.
Shipping.
Of course the priority is for the item to arrive at the destination safely, but we rather choose to use recycled materials for the package - already once used boxes, bubble wraps and plastic bags.
