Very well worked, exactly like in the pictures, high quality, beautiful passport covers! Quick shipment. Initially it did not fit the unusual size of the new German passports, but Melanie was incredibly helpful and fast to communicate with. She kindly offered me a resize of the passport covers, so they now fit perfectly! :)

Updates

Song of the Seam was on hiatus for a bit but is now reopen! We've got some lovely new things too, like these cute kid's room wall hangings.
Order by 6th December to get your goodies under (or on) the tree in time! We'll be closed from 7th December until early 2018.
I love sewing with this luxurious Barrameda fabric by William Yeoward. It's a thick, luscious cotton that travels so smoothly under the needle. Yum!

About

So much fabric, so little time!

Small, but perfectly formed, is probably the best way to describe the Song of the Seam workroom. The most precious object in my little sewing corner is a small set of blue wooden Sylko thread drawers that once belonged to my great-grandmother. I lugged it all the way back from New Zealand with me after one visit and now it has pride of place on my sewing table. It still has many of the original cottons inside; some of which have fabulous names like 'parrot blue' and 'gladiole red'.

Everything you see in the shop is made by moi from start to finish (with the help of a couple of sewing machines). I'm just a little bit addicted to fabric shopping and am always on the eye out for beautiful materials that I know will create something special.

Hi, I'm Melanie! I'm a New Zealander who moved to the UK a few years ago. I used to work in a very dull office job but now I get to spend my days immersed in piles of fabric, jars of buttons and spools of ribbon....bliss!
