Son of a Sailor Supply is the embodiment of playful collaboration between a husband and wife.
Son of a Sailor Supply is the product of William and Jessica, husband and wife, and their delight and exploration of creative process. An extension of Son of a Sailor Jewelry, Supply is a landing place for the many other items that inspire them!
William and Jessica met while she was living in San Francisco and he in Austin. She was originally from Austin, but had been in the Bay Area for a couple of years. William traveled to the Bay Area to visit a friend, her roommate, and they immediately hit it off. The first day spent together they ended up doing art projects on the floor of her room! After that trip, they began dating long distance. Every time they would have a visit, they ended up creating something together.
Ten months later, Jessica returned to Austin. Together, in the scope of a year, they bought a house, began Son of a Sailor, and became engaged to be married. It's clear they like to do everything at once.
A year and a half later Son of a Sailor Jewelry was born and shortly after Son of a Sailor Supply came alive as well. The introduction of Son of a Sailor Supply finds the signature aesthetic that William and Jessica created with their line of jewelry, now applied to gift items and men’s accessories. The collection celebrates functional design married with bold geometric color, which has become their trademark.

WIlliam was born in Kentucky, and Jessica in Texas, and both grew up weaving their way around these United States. After he traveled the world for a year, and she traveled around San Francisco, they met, fell in love, and landed in Austin together!
All items are made by us, William + Jessica, with care and great detail. Please keep in mind that no two handmade items will be exactly alike. There will be slight differences, as much as we try to remain consistent.

Son of a Sailor is not responsible for any import charges your country may impose, nor can we mis-represent what we are shipping to you! Please convo us if you have any questions.
Additionally, when shipping international orders via the US Postal Service we are unable to track your package once it leaves the United States. The only courier services that provide tracking for international packages are those such as UPS. We are happy to ship via UPS, if you so desire. Simply convo us so that we may create a custom listing with the appropriate shipping charges.
Refunds and Exchanges
If your item arrives damaged, please take a photograph of your item and email us as soon as possible.
Please note that all sales are final on any custom item.
If you would like to return your item, please contact us within 3 days of receiving an item. The buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back, and we will be happy to refund your money in full, less the cost of shipping, once the item arrives in its original condition. Please return items with delivery confirmation--we cannot be liable for items lost in mail for return!
