Orders will be shipped within 1-3 business days. A tracking number will be provided at the time of shipping.

Chocolate orders are made to order and should be refrigerated upon receipt. Orders should be eaten within about 2 weeks. Chocolate will be the freshest in the first two weeks, but not go bad after this time period. Depending on delivery location, chocolate orders may not ship on Thursday or Friday if there is a chance it will not be delivered until Monday to avoid the package sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. If you have any special shipping instructions, please leave me a note with your order. Chocolate may develop a fine white powder on outer edges. This is due to temperature changes during shipping. It occurs the most with designs with a lot of detail. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the chocolate, and it is completely safe to eat.

Additional policies and FAQs

Where do you get your supplies?

Our supplies come from several different wholesalers, local retailers, and we are currently working on sourcing tea directly with farmers in Sri Lanka.

Why aren't all of your products organic?

While many of our products are organic/fair trade, we understand that the certification process that farmers/growers must undergo can be extremely complicated. For us, quality is the most important thing, and that is what we strive to provide, whether organic or not.

Why do you use "natural flavor" in some of your tea blends?

We flavor our teas with fruit pieces, spices, and natural flavorings. The natural flavoring that we use comes from extracts and essential oils.

How should I store my tea?

Tea should be stored in an airtight container, away from UV rays. Tea will not "go bad", but the quality will decrease over time.

How do I prepare my tea?

Each tea is different and comes with suggested preparation instructions. For a general guide use 1 teaspoon per cup, near boiling for 3-5 minutes for black, and cooler water for greens and whites, for a shorter period of time. Herbal blends can be steeped for a longer period of time (try 5-15 minutes) to increase flavor and potency of the herbs. Tea preparation can be a very personal thing and it is important to enjoy the process as well as the final product. Remember to use quality filtered water.
