About SoSallyEmbroidery

That is "so" Sally.

So Sally was created in 2011. It all started in the loft of my college townhouse at Florida Gulf Coast University. While attending FGCU, I was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and a sweetheart for Kappa Alpha Order. My involvement in these organizations immediately sparked my interest in appliquéd shirts...which later evolved to embroidery. After making a few handmade t-shirts with strawberries and crowns, I started having friends inquire about making them a shirt for a fee... And there you have it, the business began.

My senior year, FGCU became the best known Cinderella story in college sports. Anyone remember "DUNK CITY?" I think I sold over 500 coozies in a matter of days. That helped me invest into a bigger and better machine!

Now, with the help of my family, I have turned this college hobby into a successful [SIDE] business. By day, I teach second graders...which I consider to be the best job in the world.

Being in the embroidery business is definitley a labor of love with many restless nights. But, it has it's perks... My favorite is being able to contribute to a small part of someone's special moment, day, or trip. Newborn babies are wearing onesies I stitched, brides are using my embroidered handkerchieves to wipe their tears as they say "I do," and families are making everlasting memories on vacations in shirts I was able to create... It's a humbling feeling to be a small part of these big moments in someone's life.
And as Lilly Pulitzer always said..."Anything is possible with sunshine and a little pink."
