Thank you, love it as always
We're kind of obsessed with paper...
and not ready to let it go. When So There's founder, Alison, left her job designing ceramics at a local company, she quickly keyed into the material she always wanted to have her hands on.
Letterpress is the best way to use paper (in our opinion). There's something pretty great about pressing ink into soft, rich stock, and something even better about getting a card or product that's been made with such care.
There's a lot more to say, and we try to say some of it at our website, andsothere.com . Take a look, and come visit our store in Issaquah, if you get a chance!
Alison is originally from Texas, but has settled into the Pacific Northwest. She graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in design, and soon realized that all she wanted to do was make things, and share the work of other creative types.
This shop contains letterpressed goods (among other things). I believe most things deserve more than one life, so I use recycled, repurposed, and renewable materials whenever possible.
Each item is hand made with a bizarre sense of humor. Letterpressed items are individually printed on a vintage platen press or an antique California Reliable press. Great care is taken to ensure that the product is consistent and without defect- but please be aware that some variation can occur. Additionally, colors might vary slightly from the color you see on your monitor.
Most designs are letterpressed with a light impression. Variations in the ink coverage are part of the charm of letterpress. (So charming!)
