5 out of 5 starsThis is gorgeous work. So gorgeous that I'm not going to take off a star for how far the actual color is from the photos of the piece. (See attached.) I'm used to there being some variation from monitor to real life, but I bought this because it had so much golden yellow in the shop photos and there is literally none of that color in the actual piece. Fortunately, this may still work where planned and if it doesn't, I have several other rooms it will be fine for since turquoise and brown work great in my house. Again, it is a beautiful piece and I want to keep it despite the color issue, but I suggest buyers might want to confirm actual colors if accuracy is important for the space you are doing.

For the past six years I have sharing my art here on etsy. This shop reflects the variety of media that I express myself through.
I am an artist and art therapist, who has been doing art my whole life. I paint mainly in encaustic, but I also love making mixed media collage, and create Illuminated Mandalas, using prismacolor pencils on black paper, and now make Wearable Art Pendants from all of my art. I also teach Mandala workshops, SoulCollage® and Encaustic paintings workshops at my home studio.
Most of my art is intuitive, begining with an image, metaphor, or archetype that calls to me, and then I allow the process to bring forth a direction. In encaustic painting one litterally needs to go with the flow and let the wax do its magic. However, all my work is process oriented whether I am drawing, doing mixed media collage or making art pendants. Perhaps it is background as an art therapist that lends itself to my trust in the process.

Returns and exchanges
Safe packaging and return postage are the responsibility of the buyer. Due to the originality of the item, it must be returned insured, with a tracking number as I cannot be responsible for items that are lost in the mail. Upon receipt of the paintings in their original condition, I will provide a full refund - less shipping charges.
