I was very happy with this purchase! Shopping for antique clothes online can be very difficult. You can never be sure what the condition or appearance is like without seeing it in person. However, the shop owner was incredibly accommodating. I had so many questions, and the shop owner answered all of them along with additional photos. It also helps when you are buying from some one so knowledgeable about the era and style of clothing. This shop is definitely run by someone who has a lot of care and passion for what they are selling. I highly recommend you give this place a chance. It has been the best experience I've had buying. No unwanted surprises, I knew exactly what I was purchasing.

I am a proud member of the VINTAGE FASHION GUILD (VFG) and I do my utmost to disclose any and all issues. As well as disclosing the issues I also rate each item based on the chart below. I do, however, include the chart in each sale for easy reference.
Please know that colours vary from monitor to monitor and that is why we take the time to try and describe the colour in our descriptions. As well, there are times when it is difficult for us to capture the true likeness of certain colours or textures such as reds, purples, velvets and items with metallic or shiny finishes.
We are happy to answer any questions you may have. We will answer your questions as quickly as possible and always within 24 hours. If you do not hear with us within this time frame it will be due to situations beyond our control such as a power outage.

We are happy to combine shipping, but it is not necessarily cheaper due to weight and size restrictions. Please contact us and we will work out available shipping options for you.
We mark the full sale price on all customs forms - no exceptions - and we appreciate your understanding.
Surface shipping is available for International clients (those outside the US and Canada), but it takes a lot longer. European countries from 5 weeks to 3 months and Australia can take more than 3 months. Please contact us for a quote.
US and International clients may incur customs and/or duty fees. We are not responsible for these fees; so please do check with your customs office for specifics.
Refunds and Exchanges
However, if we have made an error in a listing, we will be more than happy to accept a return and issue a refund in full. For a refund to be considered you must:
1) contact us within 48 hours of receipt outlining the error
2) mail the item back to our Canadian mailing address by an insured mailing method pre-approved by us and
3) mail out to us within 48 hours of our approval.
We will inspect upon receipt and once we are satisfied we are in error a refund will be issued.
Again, all returns must be sent to our CANADIAN ADDRESS otherwise we will not receive the item.

EXCELLENT: normal wear from aging - does not affect the wearing

How we MEASURE CLOTHING:
Unless otherwise stated, all measurements are in inches and they are taken on the outside of a garment. Each piece is laid flat before measuring. Bust, waist and hip areas etc. are measured across and then the measurement is doubled. We measure each garment at least twice to ensure accuracy. If your waist is 28" and the garment waist is 28", it will not fit if it is a fitted garment - an allowance of 1" to 2" is always best, even more on thicker and heavier items such as over coats.
How we MEASURE SHOES:
Unless otherwise stated, the toe to heel measurement is taken with the measuring tape laid flat against the surface of the inside of the shoe and up and over the arch (if any). For the width we take the widest part of the outside bottom of the shoe. If there is overhang from the top of the shoe, we will give you that measurement as well.
We measure everything twice.
UNSURE IF AN ITEM WILL FIT?:
Take something from your wardrobe that fits you well, measure it in the same fashion we do and compare your measurements to ours.
CLEANING AND REPAIRS:
Any item that requires cleaning and can be hand or machine washed, we do. We also do small repairs such as re-stitching loose hems and sewing on buttons. Any item that requires dry-cleaning or machine stitching such as seam reinforcing, we leave up to the buyer. This will be stated in the listing.
