At Treebottom Wool, we take pride in the fact that we use repurposed materials! This means that we hand select items for condition, color and texture, but it is not brand-new. We think up-cycling material is not only eco-conscious and creative, but it makes clothing even softer and more delicious for the wearing. We are honest about conditions, and take detailed pictures of each item listed. We always hand wash and lanolize each wool item in the most delectable wool wash so that they arrive ready to wear.

All items for sale here are made in our home on a sewing machine, and sometimes by hand. Seams are double stitched for extra seam-security. We live and work in a smoke-free environment.

::Please Note:::
As children come in different shapes and sizes, our sizing is our best estimate, and our measurements are accurate. It is always best to measure your child (or your child's best fitting pants) to ensure a good fit.

Custom Orders:

We are very happy to fulfill custom orders. Please keep in mind that what we can make depends on what materials we have in stock. If you have design ideas please contact us and we'll do what we can to make your vision come to life! You may also send your requests through Etsy shop Alchemy.

Once we have discussed custom order preferences, and have a timeline for completion developed, we then ask for payment in full sent through a Paypal invoice. Once orders are completed, we will list them in our shop as a reserved listing (with pictures of the item) for the remaining cost of shipping and handling.

Once we put an item from our shop on reserve, we notify customers with a link to the reserve listing. We will hold an item on reserve for up to 5 days once the customer has been notified.

Wholesale & Consignment:
We welcome bulk order requests and may be able to offer a discount, but be advised we cannot accommodate traditional wholesale pricing, as each item is one of a kind, and generally very time consuming to produce.

Sometimes buttons are used on items intended for babies. They are sewn on really tightly, but please be cautious and use your best judgment. We are not responsible for button mishaps.
And please don't put wool on your baby if s/he is allergic.

WOOL CARE (detailed instructions also includes in purchase packages):

Caring for your wool is easy! Wool is naturally water resistant and anti-bacterial, so it does not need to be washed after each use. Many of our customers throw their longies in the wash with the rest of their laundry, or you can hand wash. It's your choice.

For Use as Diaper Covers: An unstained cover can be used approximately six to eight times between washes. In between uses, simply leave the cover to dry. A soiled cover should be washed as soon as possible to prevent a stain from setting.

Clothing: It is only really necessary to wash your wool items once a season unless they get soiled. In between washing, simply brush your wool garment with a lint brush to freshen it. You can also spot clean areas with warm water, a small amount of detergent or stain remover, and a light scrub.

Washing Instructions: We recommend washing your wool in a lanolin wool wash. To wash add 1-2 tsp per gallon of warm water. Turn your garment inside out and let soak for 10-15 minutes. Gently squeeze suds through the wool. Rinse thoroughly and roll garment in a towel to remove excess water. Dry flat.
