The Southwest Images Collection by artist Henry Sautter presented by Sautter.Photography

This exhibition of Southwest Images depicts the diverse nature of life in the Southwest from high deserts and mountain snow, to ocean vistas of the Pacific coast.

The artist, Henry Sautter (Hank) has lived in Tucson AZ for over 25 years and looks forward to sharing a view of the Southwest with you.

Hank has been interested in photography for many years, starting with a “box” camera and making contact prints, to developing color prints in his darkroom while living in New York State. He graduated from New York Institute of Photography in 1987. After moving to Tucson digital images and computer software replaced the darkroom chemistry.

The Tucson landscape offers images of the Sonoran Desert with Saguaro cactus against the Tucson sunsets and snow on the Catalina Mountains portraying some of unique diversity of the area.

The Red Rocks of Sedona AZ are a popular location where monsoon storm clouds and sunset colors provide a backdrop for the uniquely shaped mountain formations.

Joshua Tree National Park is found in the high desert with an amazing and diverse set of features and a view of past life in the area at Keys Ranch.

The Pacific Coast gives a counter point to the desert with colorful sunsets and relaxation on the beach.
