Thanks so much for your generosity and good communication. The calendar is lovely and the wrapping was so pretty I almost didn't want to open it! I'll have to find the perfect person to gift the second one to.

So wabi-sabi represents the collaborative work of John and Elizabeth Sterling in wood and fiber mediums. Wabi-sabi is the Japanese aesthetic of understated elegance. A truly wabi-sabi work is very pleasing to your soul. It makes you feel good without being flashy or overwhelming. Everyone needs a little wabi-sabi in their life.

You can find more of John's fine furniture at www.jcsterling.com and read about the beauty and balance of handmande, homegrown, and homemade at their blog www.sowabisabi.com
