Welcome to my cozy Sock Shop!
Brighten those long winter nights with a pair of brightly coloured socks. Wear them around the house, or wear them in bed to ward off the chill.
Remember, wool socks are more absorbent than cotton or other fibers. They can reach their maximum moisture content, though. If your feet start to feel chilled, change to another pair of dry socks. It's the answer to cold feet.

Sizes are based approximately on shoe sizes.
"W" are women's sizes
"M" are men's sizes
Small - W5-7/M4-6
Medium - W8-9/M7-8
Large - W10-11/M9-10
X-Large - W 12-14/ M11-13
ALL sizes are approximate and generally based on shoe size.
I make hand-cranked wool socks and things in my small town home in Manitoba, Canada. Sox 'n' Such is a shop where you will find knitted items of many kinds, hand-cranked on an antique sock knitting machine. Since I love to work with wool, most of my items are wool or a wool blend. But remember: This is NOT your Grandma's wool!

I love creating all kinds of stitches and since I believe in keeping the old skills alive, I not only knit, crochet and sew, I teach how.
I have hand-knitted socks for several years. In my search to find a way to knit faster to keep up with orders, I came across an antique circular sock machine. Now I knit my socks on my antique machine. If you are looking for something special, contact me. I take custom orders as well.
