So cool! I bought this for my girlfriend and being the dumbass that I am, I gave an old address. Xappaland was nice enough to re-ship very quickly and knowing that his was a gift, she wrapped it for me and included a blank notecard. AMAZING service. Thank you sooo much.

About

Culling my experiences to build a dream

As far back as I can remember the need to make was strong. I saw my mom and grandmother making clothes and crafts, and my father making furniture. It sparked a desire to be able to make things too. If I saw something I liked, I wanted to touch it, see what the weight of it felt like, look at the seams, the grain lines, and sometimes I’d pull things apart too. Mostly though, I asked a million questions about it to anyone who was willing to listen. Luckily my parents were very willing to show me or learn along side me. Trips to the library, or TV shows that showed how to make things were an obsession, and my parents actively encouraged my hunger for knowledge. Even though I’ve ruined many of their carpets and tabletops they’ve always been supportive.

Over the years my work has become more focused, and the tools amassed from the different trades I’ve learned all came together to create a line of jewelry and accessories.

My work focuses on geometric metal work, natural stones, and vitreous enamels. The enamel work gives me the freedom to create color and pattern, and the metalwork lets me play with shape and form. Stones and crystals add a natural element and balance. I like to make my pieces a little “dirty” by giving them a satin finish and using patina to darken and draw your eyes to the focal points. I try to draw from my surroundings and what inspires me. Living in the Arizona desert can be harsh and unforgiving, but the beautiful sunsets, plants and wildlife make it all worthwhile.

Each piece is crafted with love and my hope is that you feel it when you hold it in your hands.
