Hello! Welcome to SpaceDog Studios. My name is Sarah and I stock this little "aisle" here on Etsy. I love books, reading, paper, printed things, writing, reading, books, writing, Japan, art, books, classes, my dog, yoga, my studio, books, and writing. (Did I mention that I love books?)
Most of my work is one of a kind, or produced in a small run only. So, I have to warn you, once something is gone, it could be gone for good. I usually only have one take-out menu my friend mailed me from Japan. But, still, it never hurts to ask!
I usually try to use quality papers, inks, paints, adhesives, and mediums. This is especially true for artwork since I want it to maintain it's intended look for all eternity. But then again, some things are just so cool I use them anyway.
I'm full of ideas. I like to play around, coordinate, and make a hundred things all at once. I want to do absolutely everything. Somehow this fuels my creativity.
I make a large selection of journals, notebooks, paper goods and art. Lots of things border on the "educational," some things are useful, others are just for fun, and a few things are there just because.
I love Paypal above all else, but I also accept cashier's checks, money orders and personal checks. (If you pay by personal check, though I usually wait a week or so for everything to clear before I ship out your order.)
** All orders must be paid for within three days, or the transaction will be cancelled. If you need longer, please contact me and we can work something out.
If you place an order by accident, or change your mind, or whatever, it's fine - really! I don't love it, but I won't be mad. Accident's happen, and we all have our regrets . . . just please let me know that you changed your mind. That way I can get a refund from Etsy, and also I can stop worrying that something bizarre happened to your payment.
☞ COUPONS! If you have a coupon code (lucky you!) you have a few options for redeeming it:
1. Go ahead and pay just like normal, and enter your code into the "message to sellers" box at your ETSY check out. (If you put it in Paypal I'll more than likely miss it!) and I'll send you a refund for your coupon.
2. Or, when you enter the code in the message box add a note asking for a revised invoice along with the e-mail address linked to your paypal accound, and I'll send you a new invoice with the correct amount.
Whichever works best for you is perfect for me. There's no real easy way, but I want to make sure you get to use your special offer, so if you have questions you can always shoot me a convo beforehand and we can work it out then.
I usually ship out packages from the good old United State Post Office on Monday and Thursday. I know you love instant gratification as much as I love instant payment, so if I can make it there sooner I definitely will.
Generally I use First Class mail, except in the case of bird pins which, due to some "living and learning," now only ship by priority mail and have a slightly higher shipping rate to reflect this.
If you want faster shipping, insurance, confirmation, or anything else, I'm happy to do it at cost. Just let me know and I'll send you a pay-pal invoice for the price difference, or if your paying by check I'll send you an e-mail with the revised amount.
I'm happy to combine shipping with orders from my other shop - junkdog.etsy.com. If you pay through pay-pal, just go ahead and pay the full amount. I'll do the math and issue you a refund ASAP. Or, if you'd rather, shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you a request or total for the revised amount.
Also, I use your Etsy address for shipping. If you need your package to go to an address other than the one you entered on Etsy's site let me know in ETSY'S messages to seller box.
Refunds and Exchanges
If something is damaged in shipping, lost, or some other such tragedy occurs, I'll always replace your item as nearly as I can. If I can't, I'll refund you.
Otherwise if there is any other problem with your order, I want you to know that I'm pretty easy going, and I truly want you to be happy, so I know that together we can work out a good solution.
