5 out of 5 starsI got these and honestly wasn't sure as to what to expect, but these are so awesome!!! One looks like outer space and is pencil bag size and then there was a smaller one with little hedgehogs on it and it was perfect for a gift I needed to send out!!! I didn't notice any flaws and they're cute;) Thank you so much!!! (Sorry and I almost forgot!!!) Thank you so much for the most comfy thin headbands ever as little extra gifts!!! I have dreads and headbands can hurt so bad and none of the ones in the store fit, so cute fabric ones are outta the question, but I LOVE THESE! You gave me a new option and should totally make these for dreadies;) Thank you a million times over;)

My blue room of my own
Sewing, and sewing, and sewing
Welcome to my happy shop, I'm glad you stopped by. I am a lifelong geek and internet addict who just fell in love with Etsy when I joined in 2008. I loved finding unique gifts for my friends! In 2010 we bought a house and for the first time ever I had a craft room of my very own, and was sewing a lot. So much, in fact, that my family was overloaded with little zipper bags and pajama pants and nobody else in my life needed another badge lanyard. So I figured heck, all these people sell stuff on Etsy, why not open my own shop to fund my crafting/Etsy buying habits?
I set a 2011 new years resolution of getting some stuff listed by Christmas. I also discovered trade teams where I could combine my buying love and offloading needs all at once... how glorious! There is a wonderful community here and I am happy to be a part of it.
In 2012 I started falling behind on my sewing and started to have some items sewn by the Wichita Women's Initiative (www.wichitawin.org) - a wonderful local organization that provides support for women transitioning out of poverty or abusive situations. Items sewn by WIN are noted in the listing. I provided training, patterns and all supplies and they have been graciously helping out with the sewing.
I've spent most of my life in Kansas. It's my home and I love it. I have always had progressive values and some parts of my shop may reflect that. I boycotted Hobby Lobby before boycotting Hobby Lobby was cool.
I have a busy, crazy life but I love helping other people with their crafts and love assisting my fellow Etsians so please contact me if you have any questions!
