5 out of 5 starsReceived my yarn today. Susan added personal touches to the packaging and a hand written thank you note. Now to the yarn. It is so extraordinary. I love all things skulls and to find yarn with skulls was amazing. The pictures do not do justice to this yarn. Now I have to come up with the perfect pattern to show case this wonderful yarn. Will definitely be keeping my eye on Susan's shop for more one of a kind yarns.

I love fiber!
A native Iowan, I enjoy all things fiber. When I was eight years old my grandmother gave me a Learn-to-Knit kit and I was on my way to becoming the “compulsive knitter”.
I received a BA in studio art from The University of Iowa in 1978 and worked for 30 years in the printing industry. I used knitting as a way to unwind from the stress of daily deadlines.
In 2005 I bought my first spinning wheel and began spinning art yarn. I now have two wheels and bins full of yarn and fiber.
I retired from The University of Iowa Printing Department in 2010 and moved to Cape Coral, Florida the next year. After extensive travel in the west and southwest, I moved to Las Cruces in 2020.
I consider spinning and knitting as a way to work with color in a tactile manner.
