WICKEDLY GOOD CANDLES AND BOTANICAL SKINCARE

I focus on using high quality, eco-friendly, and locally sourced ingredients from right here in Washington state. All of my products are handmade without phthalates or skin-irritating dyes. I'm always aiming to improve my craft and blends through experimentation and research -- that's the scientist in me!

Candle care instructions

Burn your candle long enough that the melted wax reaches the edges each time you use your candle. This will prevent tunneling, a build up of wax that goes unmelted and causes the flame to "tunnel" to the bottom of the jar.

Trim the wick before lighting your candle again. Ideally, you want the wick to be around 1/4 to 1/8 of an inch.

Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time. The flame will eventually grow too large and hot, and burn through the wax faster. This can also cause flickering and sooting as your wick grows longer. Extinguish the candle, allow to cool, trim the wick, and relight if desired.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, or burn near anything that can catch fire. Only burn on heat-resistant surfaces, or use a holder.
