Animal Love

We really love animals here at Spirit of Aine. We live and work with our 3 rescue cats Max, Doctor Rocket, and Cow (or the Monsters). The store got its start when we lost our kitty, Kiki. The memorial piece that was made for her was the first and started it all. We figured more people might be interested in something similar, so here we are.

Payment
No item will be sent out without full payment having been received. Payments of custom work may be divided into payments (usually a down payment and a final payment). This is on a case by case basis, and usually for larger priced items. Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries on split payments.

If you wish to cancel an order, please do so as soon as possible.Cancellations of ready to ship items that are received prior to being sent will be canceled and a complete refund will be given. Between me, Etsy, and the bank, please allow at least 1-3 business days for this process to be 100% completed. If the item has already been sent, please refer to the refund/return policy section. Cancellations of custom work (once work has started) will not receive down payment back. Unfortunately, if I have already started your piece it means I have spent money on supplies and time on your project which is what the down payment is meant to cover.
Shipping
I use USPS First class (for packages under a lb. like jewelry etc) and USPS Priority mall (for everything else). First class mail can take up to one week to be delivered once sent. It usually doesn't take anywhere near that much time, but it does depend on your location and local post office. Priority Mail takes 1-3 days to be delivered once sent. All packages are packed with care and although this store is new, I have years of experience shipping fragile items. I have lost very few items do to damage.

If you need your package faster then these options please feel free to contact me. Sometimes, its just a matter of me getting to the post office the same or next day (with priority mail). This usually isn't a problem. If you need a shipping upgrade, we can talk about your options to make sure you get what you need when you need it.

Insurance for all packages $50 or less is included in the shipping price. For all packages more then that, an additional fee may be required for full coverage. The extra fee is based on the value of the item (as per USPS website). It is the buyers choice to buy insurance or not, but please note, no full claim can be made if insurance was not purchased before the item was shipped.

Tracking - Priority mail includes tracking on all purchases at no extra cost. All other packages can have tracking added. Please contact me for pricing.

Confirmation(s) and Restricted Delivery - There are a number of options to make sure you are the one that receives your package. Please feel free to contact me about the options that are right for you.

** International orders**- I use first class international mail to send packages. Delivery dates are an estimate and can be effected by circumstances beyond my control. Buyer assumes responsibility for any customs fees and import taxes their country may require.
Refunds and Exchanges
Any ready to ship item can be returned as long as the buyer contacts me within 5 business days of receiving their purchase. Please note that if the item is not damaged or was not incorrectly labeled, the shipping fees will not be reimbursed and the buyer is responsible for the return postage. A full refund of the purchase price will be given when the returned item as been received.

*Damaged items* Any damaged item will be replaced (when possible), repaired, or given a full refund. Please note that items over $50 which have not had extra insurance purchased may not qualify. Confirmation of damage is necessary before refund/replacement will be issued. A cell phone picture is the most common confirmation method. Sorry about this inconvenience, but as a small business precautions are necessary.

Unfortunately, I can not take responsibility if an item is marked delivered but you didn't receive your package. I will of course contact the post office and do my best to help you locate your package. If you have any concern about this happening please contact me about Confirmation(s) and Restricted Delivery.
