Announcement ♥ Here at Spirit of the Sea we have Hand Crafted Jewelry in a range of styles. I love to work in raw Gemstones and Found objects, such as black glass buttons from my large collection.. I am probably best known for my unique style of wire wrapping and weaving which had won a number of awards and appeared in numerous Jewelry and Beading Magazines. I start with a 1 yard piece of wire and it grows from there---guided by the stones or glass the piece just takes form on it's own. I use only round nose pliers and cutters---and never a pattern! That makes each of my pieces OOAK (one of a kind)

5 out of 5 starsVery fast shipping and the item was securely boxed. The color of the crystal is BEAUTIFUL and the intricate wire pattern encasing the crystal itself is something that I've never seen and it's absolutely FANTASTIC ! Also, the length of the necklace "24" is perfect for me. I'm 110% happy and satisfied with this item and I'll definitely be a returning customer in the very near future 😊.

2 out of 5 starsIn all honestly I was disappointed with this tutorial, the pictures are to far back and NOT CLEAR so there are no "Closeup" visuals. In fact I was frustrated trying to learn this weave and this tut only made it worse
Dianne responded on May 8, 2015
The diagrams really solve that problem--it's an easy weave- just needs a little concentration for the first two rounds!

3 out of 5 starsSeller displayed a hostile attitude towards us after asking for a refund, as the drill bits do not work. And even said "you will not be buying from us again in the future". Just because we received an item that didn't work. Very unprofessional. However they refunded immediately.

We have sold thousands and have used these drill ourselves for years. They work very well with the proper technique.Technique is important and apparently the buyer's technique was less that optimal. Of course they will not be buying from me in the future---though they have their money back and kept the product.

Sea Glass Treasures that help memories last a lifetime!
I am a devoted Sea Glass enthusiast. I began collecting sea glass on Maryland's Eastern shore over 30 years ago. Like everyone else, I collected the glass and put it in jars and dishes --and smiled at it. My collection soon outgrew the beach cottage and I finally decided to add sea glass to my beaded jewelry. I wanted my Sea Glass Jewelry to be different from everyone else's and I developed my unique wire wrapping technique specifically for my sea glass in 2008. One of my early creations was featured in Bead Style Magazine in May 2012. Another piece won as a finalist in Fire Mountain Gems Jewelry Making Contest-Wire-2012 and was featured in Fire Mountains ad on the back of Jewelry Affaire- Autumn 2013. I am entirely self taught and am constantly tweeking my style. I use only genuine sea glass--mostly found by myself and my family. We are avid cruisers and enjoy combing the Caribbean beaches for our sea glass treasures.
We cherish the time spent beachcombing for these tiny pieces of glass..
I am very thankful to my customers, and etsy, for this opportunity to share my finds which I hope to have made even more enjoyable with my jewelry creations.
I am a member (and past Board member) of the North American Sea Glass Association.
I am also a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman and the Chester County Art Association. I have taught my techniques at the renowned Philadelphia Bead Fest.
