All items at Spool & Sparrow are designed and brought to life by me in my home work space.
Should you find an item of interest but prefer a different colorway, please don't hesitate to convo me. I may be able to accommodate your request.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept payment via PayPal. You can use your credit card to make a purchase via PayPal's secure ordering service even if you do not wish to set up a paypal account.

Please complete payment at the same time that you make your purchase. Orders for which payment has not been received will be cancelled after 24 hours, and the item will be re-listed.
Shipping
All orders ship within 3 business days of purchase, often the next day, unless noted otherwise. Please let me know if you are dealing with a deadline.

All orders are shipped via the US postal service. Domestic orders for smaller single items (aprons, tool rolls,..) are shipped First Class. Two or more items, and items exceeding the 13oz domestic weight limit for First Class, are shipped Priority or parcel post. International orders are shipped First Class International.

Shipping costs are noted in item descriptions. I have attempted to set up the most economical shipping options for my customers. If the shipping cost for an item is not listed with your country's name, please contact me for the shipping charge. For orders of at least 3 items, I encourage you to contact me so that I can be sure you are receiving the best deal for shipping that I am able to offer. I make no attempt to profit off of shipping. As of Fall 2010, I am requiring customers to cover insurance for all overseas orders. I will send you an invoice via PayPal to cover the insurance. Please remit your payment for insurance within 48 hours. I will go ahead and send your package without awaiting your payment for insurance but will assume it is forthcoming. Honor system here. Thank you for understanding!

Whenever possible, I will repurpose packaging I have received in the mail and use it to mail orders. I use recycled tissue paper and organic cotton/hemp ribbon in packaging as well.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase. Please notify me immediately if you have any concerns so that I can work with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Additional policies and FAQs
My photographs represent the item you are purchasing in terms of design, color and fabric. Your item may vary slightly in that I make each product one-at-a-time by hand. Two prints made on fabric with the same printing block will always have small differences. This interplay between the ink and the texture of the fabric is my favorite part of block printing.

I wash all fabric before before cutting or printing. Line drying is my personal preference for all of my washable items. When line drying is not practical, please remove linens from the dryer while still damp. If ironing is desired, it's best to do so when fabric is still slightly damp.

Item listings may include a photo of the same product in a different colorway or a different product altogether featuring your chosen print design. Often close-up fabric shots are included in an attempt to accurately reflect the texture of each fabric. I tend to work with more rustic-looking natural fiber fabrics that frequently show variation in texture. It's the nature of nature!
