About

Spoons & Such

Hello!

I'm Hannah Thees and I live and work in Cincinnati. I have a small home studio overlooking the Ohio River where I create all of my work . I went to school in Columbus at Columbus College of Art & Design where I majored in Illustration. It wasn't until my final semester, when I finally got into the fine arts jewelry class, that I realized I wanted to pursue jewelry as a career. From the moment I sat down at the bench on the first day I haven't stopped making jewelry. I love incorporating bits and pieces of antique flatware along with precious gemstones including turquoise, jasper, moonstone, and coral.
