The ring dish is perfect and just what I wanted, I had my friends name and a message added for a personal touch. It was produced at a very high quality.

Absolutely gorgeous! Lisa was so quick with response and accommodating. I asked her if she could colour the lace part of the dish in light turquoise and she did it in no time and at no extra cost! Thanks so much Lisa, my friend loved it!

About

Vintage meets modern

I started my journey with porcelain 20 years ago, when I was just a teenager my family took over a small family business that made porcelain figurines in the style of Lladro. My Mum, Dad, Sister and I put our heart and soul into the business and took over a studio space at the Bendigo Pottery. We were based there for 10 years, selling our figurines to tourists who took them back to all corners of the globe.

Well life took over for my sister and I. University, travel then marriage and eventually kids. We shut up shop and everything was put into storage.

Many years later after moving to Melbourne and have 2 kids of my own, I felt the need to create, and it was natural for me to go back to my roots, but in a very different way. Porcelain figurines had become a thing of the past, so I looked into different ways to work with the medium I love. At first I made my own beads and pendants and made jewellery, but didn't feel that I had found my calling. I then saw the huge amount of jewellery makers out there were working with artisan beads, so I began to make unique beads and pendants for people creating with artisan beads.

I still felt like I had not found my niche and began to experiment with small homewares. Hand built and unique. I loved the texture and vintage feel of lace, so began imprint my clay with beautiful lace designs. I loved the combination of modern and vintage, and my bowls, ring dishes, platters and ornaments have this at their core.

I am now proud to say my ring dishes have traveled down the aisle holding precious rings across the globe. I continue to grow and develop my range but always stay true to the vintage/modern feel that has become my signature look.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little more, and know that every piece you see in my store is made with love from me to you.
